The RBCA U-19 had a dominating outing in the ongoing Challengers Cup U-19 T20 Tournament against Friends CC. Batting first, RBCA hammered a whopping 223 in 20 overs. Opener Krish Singh scored an impressive 87 off just 49 deliveries with 9 fours and a six. Forming crucial partnerships along the way, Singh stayed unbeaten. Apart from him, Skipper Tejas Chalke produced a supreme knock of 60 off just 26. At a strike rate of 230, Chalke provided the finishing punch RBCA required.
Vansh Jain from Friends CC claimed 2 wickets as his peers had an expensive outing. With a subpar bowling performance, Friends CC had a huge mountain to climb.
In a commanding position, RBCA capitalized on the dire situation and bowled tight lines to restrict the batters as the Friends CC managed a total of only 80 in 20 overs despite losing just 4 wickets. Nishit Balla was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 2/19 in 4 overs. He was well supported by his teammates as they managed to keep things tight and win the game by 143 runs.
