Shimul Dalal scores a match-winning 74(53b) to steer DSP Blackrock to a commanding win over Cipla in Milan T20 Tournament

Held at Centurion ground in Oval, DSP Blackrock & Cipla clashed for a crucial encounter where DSP Blackrock won the toss & elected to field first as the wicket was quite good to bowl on & put the opposition under pressure.

CIPLA batted first and did a fairly good job with the bat as they managed to put a score of 168/5 in 20 overs. Akshay Patil scored a superb century (109) off just 60 balls where in he smashed 13fours and did equally good running between the wickets. Pratik Khaitan chipped in with 2wkts followed by a wicket each for Chinmay, Sunil & Vipul.

Chasing 169 in a t20 game is always a tough task but DSP Blackrock’ smartly elected to bowl first because deep down they were confident of chasing it. Opener Harsha thota was out for a duck but Sunil Nair gave a terrific start scoring a 39ball 62. Shimul Dalal carried the positive momentum as he a brilliant 73 off just 54balls which proved to be a match-winning knock while Vipul Tripathy sealed the match in style with a six.

DSP Blackrock won the match comfortably & Shimul Dalal was declared ‘man of the match’ for his brilliant perfomance while Akshay’s superb batting went for a losing cause. Cricketgraph congratulates the winning team & wishes luck to both the teams for a great future ahead.
