Satish Shetty’s vivacious 93* takes Malad Thunga towards the victory line in the ‘Shri Barku G.Patil T20 League‘19

Malad Thunga team opting to bat first at Belapur Sports Association scored a competitive total of 177/2 in 20 overs. Opener Ishan Thakkar and Satish Shetty at no.3 stitched a match winning 118 run stand in 90 balls which helped team reach a good total.  Ishan scored a solid looking 52 runs of 44 balls while it was Satish playing the attacking role scoring a swashbuckling 93* off just 62 balls. Satish’s innings included 11 fours and 2 sixes at a healthy strike rate of 150.00 as Malad Thunga were in a strong position.

Thanks to some really tight bowling by the Thunga bowlers, Nanavati team managed to score only 74/9 all out in 13.2 overs as Malad Thunga team won the match by 102 runs while Satish Shetty’s 93* remained the highlight performance of the match.
