Ramchandra Pol known for his immaculate bowling within local cricket circle stayed true to his reputation by picking up 6 wickets against Mangrol Sprots Club. The comm on thing with all his wickets was that all the wickets were caught out. Interestingly 3 of these wickets were caught at short leg, which goes to prove his tight bowling, cramping the batsmen. “My favorite wicket was that off an outswinger of good length, taking the willow’s outside edge and resulting in an easy first catch slip. “We are into this tournament with a strong and clear intention of winning the championship. In this match we were very close to winning it outright, nevertheless it was also important to win the match”. Ram also commended his keeper captain, Ajay Kadam who leads the team from front with timely instructions.
Ram seemed to be satisfied with his performance however the ultimate joy for him would be to see his team, Mazagaon CC win the championship. Mazagon CC team won the match on first innings against Mangrol Sports club.
