Ram Pal Academy enter Hot Weather Final courtesy Sunil Dalal’s all-round show

In the semi-final of 39th Lala Raghuvir Singh Hot Weather Cricket Tournament, Ram Pal Academy defeated Madras Club by 35 runs to fix a final encounter with Collage Sports Club. The final will be played on 22nd June.

Batting first RP Academy scored 234 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 40 overs. Punit Bisht top scored with 65 while Sunil Dalal contributed with unbeaten 57.

In reply Madras Club were all out for 199 runs in 36.1 over and lost the match. A scintillating innings from Surinder Dahiya (95 runs, 87 balls) could not prevent a loss for Madras Club. Rohit Dubey captured 3 wickets for 25 runs while Sunil Dalal again stamped his class with 3/32.

Sunil Dalal for his excellent all-round performance (57*, 3/32) was adjudged the man of the match.
