Pradeep yadav’s heroics at no.8 helps Tata AIA win the Plate Finals of Dreamz Corporate Trophy’22

Played at LIC, Cross Maidan in Mumbai, Deutsche Bank after opting to bat first posted a total of 137/10 in 16.1 overs. Sanket at no.5 was the highest scorer with 37 runs but Deutsche kept losing wickets at regular intervals or else they could have reached a total of anywhere around 160+. Tata AIA Bowlers put up a disciplined performance with the ball especially Nitin Mestry who returned with impactful bowling figures of 4/19 in mere 3 overs. Nitin provided crucial breakthroughs at the middle order including the scalps of Sanket and Aman who were looking set at one stage.

Chasing 138 looked like a mere formality for Tata AIA team as they went on to win the match by 2 wkts and 1.1 over to spare. Sanket Kanade at no.3 scored 33 off 25 balls while Pradeep Yadav played a very important cameo of 28*off 21 balls. Anil Jhulka from Deutsche Team did gave a hard time but eventually his bowling efforts of 4/25 went in vain as Tata AIA crossed the victory line in the 19th over.

Tata AIA won the match by 2wkts winning the Plate Finals of Dreamz Corporate Trophy.
