Payyade Premier League (PPL) start from 19 April 2016 | Mumbai
Payyade Premier League, an inter club tournament within the various clubs under the parent group of Payyade, begins on 19th April 2016. This tournament is first of a kind initiative by Gaurav Payyade to scout the right talent within these clubs.
PPL will be played within 16 teams in a round robin format. To ensure everybody gets a fair chance to showcase their talent, each team will allow 15 batters to bat. Matches will be of 35 overs and will be played at multiple venues in Mumbai. One of the objectives of PPL is to see how players respond to different match situations.
Some of the teams participating in PPL are Blue Star, Amar CC, Canara Vijay, Young Parsee, St.Marrys, Kerawala CC,Apollo Youngsers, John Bright, Baronate CC, Vijay CC, Bhatnagar CC, Mulund Challengers, New Amarit CC, Parkophene.
