Omkar Maldikar’s five-wicket haul helps Bombay Pharma Equipments win in MCA Corporate Trophy ’22
On March 17, Bombay Pharma Equipments C.C. and The Tata Power Co. Ltd. clashed against each other during the MCA Corporate Trophy tournament. Bombay Pharma Equipments C.C. won the toss and elected to bat first.
Riding on Rahul Maharana’s 58, Bombay Pharma Equipments C.C. posted a respectable score of 9-158 in 40 overs. Maharana led his team’s batting from the front to steer them to a fighting score. For the Tata Power Co. Ltd., Wilkin Mota was the pick of the bowlers as he bagged three wickets conceding just six runs.
In reply, the Tata Power Co. Ltd., managed to score 130 as they were bowled out in just 23.3 overs, losing the match by 28 runs. Omkar Maldikar starred with the ball for Bombay Pharma Equipments C.C. as he scalped 5-21. Maldikar was the wrecker-in-chief as he ran through the opposition’s batting line-up in a jiffy. Akhand Singh’s half-century went in vain as the Tata Power Co. Ltd. could not chase down the target of 159 set by Bombay Pharma Equipments C.C.
Omkar Maldikar was the top performer of the match, thanks to his match winning bowling performance of 5-21 that helped Bombay Pharma Equipments C.C. beat the Tata Power Co. Ltd. by 28 runs during the MCA Corporate Trophy.
