Omkar Jadhav steals the show with his all-round performance in the Masters Cup Tournament

It was the second league match for Johnson & Johnson vs Prince Marine Transport at Vengsarkar Academy in Mahul. The match was crucial for both the teams to win as it would help them advance in the tournament. Winning the toss, Prince Marine elected to bat first with an aim of making a big target to pressurize the opposition

However, things hardly went in their favor as they lost as many as 8 wickets under 60 runs. It was only until Arman at no.9 played a crucial cameo with his unbeaten 32 ball 40* which took their team total to 116/9 in 20 overs. The chief destroyer of Prince Marine batting line up was right arm medium pacer Omkar Jadhav who took 5/18 in 4 overs. It was a spellbinding spell which completely broke the entire batting line up of Prince Marine. He took 5 wickets out of which his inswinger which clean bowled the opener (Imtiyaz) was his personal favorite. 

Chasing 117, Johnson and Johnson sailed smoothly until they lost a few wickets in the middle. Once again, Omkar Jadhav came in at no.6 and played the role of a finisher too with his 30* off 22 balls. Omkar whose favorite player is Hardik Pandya is surely following his footsteps for sure. Johnson & Johnson won the match by 5 wickets and 1.4 overs to spare & Omkar Jadhav was rightly adjudged ‘man of the match” for his all round performance.

Looking at the form he is currently in, Omkar will certainly be a player to look out for in the coming matches of the tournament.
