Karan Nandey smashes yet another 50 while Sachin Yadav scores a fluent 60 in the Kanga League 2017-18
Maskati Cricket Club clashed with the experienced and strong CCI (Cricket Club of India) at the CCI ground in Mumbai where in Maskati CC won the toss & elected to bat first as the wicket was good to bat on.
Batting first, Maskati CC did not had the best of the starts as they were bundled out for just 128/10 in 51 overs where in it was only their openers Chintamani & Fenil who chipped in with 30’s while the rest of the batsman crumbled like a pack of cards. Slow left-arm bowler Sujit Nayak impressed one and all with stunning bowling figures of 4wkts/1run in his 4 overs while Hitesh Kadam chipped in with 3wkts.
In reply, the strong batting line up of CCI starting from IPL star Paul Valthaty were not to the best of the starts as CCI lost 3wkts early but it was again Karan Nandey who continued his good form with a solid half century scoring 50* off just 48alls (4fours) while Sachin Yadav smashed a sublime 60* off just 59balls (8fours) to take their team total 131/3 declare in just 23 overs. Maskati were 10/1 I their 2nd innings before the end of the game’s play where CCI won the match on 1st innings where in Sujit, Karan & Sachin were the star performers of the match. Cricketgraph congratulates CCI boys while wishes luck to both the teams for a great cricketing year ahead.
