Held at All Saints cricket ground against Vasant Vihar School, Singhania School clashed with them for a crucial semi-final match where in Singhania School won the toss & elected to bat first in this 2day match since they have a good batting line up including their in-form Jay Jain who had a nice Lashkaria Tournament.
Their decision to bat first was quite spot on as they managed to score 273/10 in 92.3 overs. Opener Parth Ingale scored a 110ball 64 at the top of the order smashing 14 fours in it. Parth certainly gave a good start which developed a positive momentum. At no.3 came their left-handed Jay Jain who showed his mettle and class once again as he scored a stunning 96 off 198balls in the scorching heat. We have seen Jay playing aggressive cricket and today we also got to see that he has the patience and resilience to play a proper test cricket knock wherein he exactly batted for 198minutes in his 198ball stay smashing 16fours in it. Om Kesh Kamat also chipped in with a 42 to help his team cross the 250 run mark and reach 272.
