Into a star studded match which had the likes of players like Manvinder Bisla, Rajat Bhatia, Sachin Rana, Mayank Rawat and many more names. Ajmal Khan CC after being put to bat first at the St. Stephen’s College Ground managed to post a total of 160/10 in 32.1 overs. Hard-hitter Mayank Rawat tops scored with a 25 ball 39 alongwith 32 runs by Arun Chaprana. The bowlers did an impressive job of restricting the opposition to a modest total with Prince Yadav being the pick of the bowlers taking 4/26 in 7 overs with a maiden.
Air India in reply chased down the total in just 30.1 overs winning the match by 4 wkts. Aman Jainwal & Pulkit Narang took 2 wickets each wickets each while Rajesh Sharma (35) and Rohan Rathi (30) top scored with 30’s. The rest of the batsmen also contributed with starts as Air India won the match and became the winners of the prestigious 46th Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial Cricket Touranament (Regd.) 2019.
In post match presentation ceremony, the special chief guests were Mr. Vijay Dahiya (ex. India International Player), Mr. Rajan Manchanda (Joint Sect. DDCA). Prizes were given to players like Rajat Bhatia for his all- round performance, “man of the tournament’ was awarded to Rohan Rathi, “Best batsman’ was awarded to “Pramod Chandila”, “Best Bowler” was awarded to Prince Yadav & the “Best upcoming Player” was awarded to Vaibhav Sood.

On 1st June 2019, the semi final of the Mega Corporate League T20 was played between JSW and First Data at the Karnatak ground at Cross Maidan.
First Data won the toss and asked JSW to bat first. JSW made a slow start to the innings before Sameer Patil played a blistering knock of 75 runs in just 35 balls. The all rounder looked excellent in his impressive partnership with Ashok , who scored 43 of 25 balls. These contributions and a late surge of runs took JSW to a commanding 198/8 at the end of their quota of 20 overs. It was a tough day at the office for the First Data bowlers as they were taken for runs but Ajinkya managed to take 3 wickets for 43 runs , while Akshay took 2 for 49.
Needing 199 runs to win a place in the final , First Data got of to a slow start. Sanket tried to accelerate the innings and scored 45 runs of 32 balls. Amogh scored a 34 ball 30 as First Data could only manage 134/8 at the end of 20 overs. Sameer Patil was again brilliant with the bowl as he was with the bat ! He took 5 wickets for just 27 runs and Ravindra took 2/22.

JSW won by a comprehensive 64 runs to book a place in the final. Sameer Patil was the Man of the match for his heroic all round performance.

The final of the Inbox Wood Corporate T20 Championship 2019 Cricket Tournament was played on 26th May 2019 at the Venue Sports Arena. Axis Bank and Sony Pictures Network were going head to head in the final.

Sony Pictures Network won the toss and elected to bat first. Pratik Patil was the stand in captain for final and he opened the innings. Pratik scored an unbeaten 109 of 68 balls , which included 12 fours and 4 sixes. The right handed opener scored 2 centuries and one fifty of the tournament. He was the star batsman for the Sony Pictures Network in the tournament scoring a staggering 282 runs in 4 matches with 30 fours and 12 sixes. In the final , he was well supported at the other end by Vishal Pandey who scored a quickfire 34 runs of 15 balls.

In the bowling department for the Axis Bank , Jagdeep Bawa took 2 wickets for 38 runs. The right arm medium pacer bowled in the right areas and was rewarded with wickets. Ravi Shinde was economical in his spell as he took a wicket and conceded just 19 runs from his 4 overs.
Axis needed 176 runs to win the final. Amar Padhye was superb with the bat again as he scored 65 runs of 34 balls. This knock made him the highest run scorer in the tournament with 306 runs at an average of 61.2. He made a very good partnership with Jagdeep Bawa as both the right handed batters piled on the runs. Jagdeep Bawa scored 75 runs of 50 balls. Back to back wickets got Sony Pictures Network back in the game and Axis Bank needed 10 of the last over. Anil Kushwaha bowled 3 wides in the final over before Shiva hit a straight six to seal the win for the Axis Bank. Manish Dhanwani took 2/29 and Anil Kushwaha took 2/34 , but it was Axis Bank who emerged victorious in the final.

Jagdeep Bawa was awarded the Man of the Match for his brilliant overall performance of 2 wickets and 75 runs.

Mahi CC after being put to bat first at Mahi Sports Park,Bhondsi in Gurgaon were least affected as they notched up a big total of 295/9 in 40 overs which is a more than defendable score. Despite a sluggish start to the innings with both the openers out early, Sagar who came at no.3 went on to score a brilliant 111 runs off 85 balls laced with 12 boundaries and 6 sixes. An innings which was a perfect mixture of strokeplay and controlled aggression, the rest of the batsman batted around him with 20’s and 30’s as Mahi CC were in a strong position at the end of their innings.
Master Blasters U19 in reply were bundled out for 139 runs in 25.1 overs with Arnav top scoring with 61 runs off mere 31 balls. From the bowlers, Dhruv and Himanshu Bharadwaj with 3 wkts each were the pick of the lot as Mahi CC won the match by 156 runs.

Viziangram team batting first were all out for 147 runs, a team which consisted many state level players found it difficult to get going vs the Dahisar Sports Club bowlers. Apart from V Ganesh’s 56 at the middle order, the rest of the team struggled with the bat. From the bowlers, almost everyone chipped in with wickets at regular intervals while it was Mann with just one over to his name being the pick of the bowlers with 3/3 in 1 over. Princely with 2/23 and Shubham with 2/14 were the other two impressive bowlers. The match turned eventful in the 39th over when 11yr old Mann came up with a stunning hat-trick to bamboozle the batsman.
A target of 148 was easily chased down by the DSC boys as openers Harpreet (58) and Princely (36) gave a solid start while Aayush Jethwa remained unbeaten with 45* heling Dahisar Sports Club win the match by 9 wkts.

11yr old young off-spinnner Mann Bhanushali was a treat to the eyes when he achieved a unique feat of bagging a hat-trick in the only over he got to bowl. Pravin Gogri sir who was impressed by the young lad said this is for the 1st time in the last 5 decades that a bowler has taken a hat-trick in the only over he got to bowl in the match. Pravin Gogri sir was quite impressed by Mann’s bowling skills and that itself was a compliment for the young man who also received the prized ball as a gift with which he took a hat-trick.


Played at the Mahim Mithanagar Ground, Jay Ganesh Vaghulsar team batting first posted a mammoth total of 294/1 in 20 overs. Tushar More played a hurricane knock becoming the very few batsmen and only the 2nd in Mumbai after Rudra Dhanday to score a T20 double hundred. Opening the innings, Tushar went on to score a brilliant 205* off mere 79 balls which had 24 boundaries and 15 sixes much to the entertainment of his team mates as well as the spectators.
Sagari Kinara Shirgaon in reply were all out for 134 runs as they failed to keep up with the run rate required. The bowlers did an impressive job by bowling tight as well as taking wickets at regular intervals as Ganesh Vaghulsar team won the match by 160 runs.
On 1st June , 2019. Sachivalay Gymkhana at the Oval, was the host of two finals on the same day. The event was organized by Pulse Entertainment Sports Events. The first final of the day was the Pulse white ball corporate final between Vodaidea and Inditrade.
Inditrade were batting first and put up 165 on the board at the end of their 20 overs. Pratik Gharat , who scored a stunning century in the semi final, continued his great form by scoring a blistering 71 runs of 38 balls. His knock included 6 fours and 4 huge sixes. Other contributions from Chetan Suvarna and Nirbhay Gharat took Inditrade to 165. For Vodaidea, Santosh was the star bowler as he took 4/29 , while Dinesh Wagh took 3/23.
Chasing 166 to win the cup, Vodaidea never got going and were bundled out for just 47 runs. Elias was the top scorer with 16 runs and the only player to get into double figures. The bowling of Inditrade was brilliant ! Vijendra Yadav, the left arm orthodox spinner , took 4 for 13 and Navin Patil took 2 wickets conceding just 2 runs.

Inditrade secured a comprehensive win by 118 runs in the final. Pratik Gharat was the Man of the match for his 71 runs. He was also the Man of the Tournament for scoring 325 runs.


The second final of the day was the Pulse honesty cup final. Reliance Capital and Orange Advertising were going head to head for the championship.

Orange Advertising were batting first and were all out for a mere 84. Aniket Gurav scored 20 and Saif Shaikh scored 18. The bowlers of Reliance Capital were outstanding again. Vijendra Yadav took 4/11 , he was very well supported from the other end by Navin Patil who took 3/11.
Reliance Capital needed just 85 runs to win the championship and they did it with ease. Satyalaksh Jain went to open the innings and was not out till the end , scoring 57 runs of just 34 balls. Rishi Mapra impressed with the ball for Orange Advertising as he took 2/19 but it was not enough as Reliance Capital cruised to a 7 wicket victory.

Vijendra Yadav was presented with the Man if the tournament trophy for his incredible 17 wickets in the tournament.


Palghar Police batting first were not able to muster a big total which could pressure on the opposition making 129/8 in 20 overs. Bhargav Patil got run out on 36 runs who was the highest scorer while the rest of the batsmen were not able to convert their 10’s and 20’s. Yash Singh bowled a very crucial spell of 4/35 in 5 overs being the pick of the bowlers for Mumbai Police. Kailas Kolekar with 2/19 in 4 overs was also impressive.
Chasing 130, Mumbai Police Gymkhana sealed off the chase in 19.3 overs winning the match by 3 wkts. Amit Jadhav and Kailas Kolekar played crucial cameos remaining not on on 33* and 24* and Tanmay Mayekar made 31 runs in what was a tough fight given by the Palghar Police bowlers.

New Era CC opting to bat first at Karnatak SA, Cross Maidan posted a big total of 179/7 in 35 overs. Opener Tushar Singh top scored for his team with 59 runs off 62 balls (7 fours) while the rest of the batsman found it difficult to get going. Laksh Shinde at no.5 scored 44 runs being the 2nd highest scorer in their innings. From the bowlers Shravan Mhatre with 3/31 was the pick of the bowlers.
Defending an average total of 180, the pressure was certainly more on the New Era CC bowlers and they successfully restricted United CC to 88 runs all out in 30.2 overs. Only there batsman managed to score in two digits with skipper Soham Mali scoring 30 of those runs. New Era CC bowlers were spot on with the ball while Yaseen Saudagar with 2/19 was the pick of the bowlers. Both his wickets were clean bowled as he has been able to maintain excellent line and length throughout the season.
New Era CC won the finals by 91 runs and with this win they become the winners of the prestigious U12 Bhaskar Trophy’19


Into the all important finals of the Bhaskar Trophy at Oval Maidan Ground, PAB Cricket Academy (Bhiwandi) opting to bat first made a decent total of 233/9 in 40 overs. Umar Khan and Kisan Pandey were the highest scorers stitching a brilliant 158 run stand for the 1st wicket. Umar scored an impressive 83 runs while Kisan Pandey smashed an equally impressive 55 to push their team towards a respectable total.
Rising Vision chasing 234 runs at almost 6 runs per over must have felt the pressure of chasing as they were bundled out for 179 runs in 36.3 overs. Saurabh Sorte came up with a gem of a spell taking 5/25 in 8 overs while Prajyot Sakpal also played a good supporting role chipping in with 3 wkts. Saurabh was spot on with the ball as he did not allow any batsman to settle resulting in a big win for his team.
PAB Cricket Academy won the finals by 54 runs and become the winners of the Bhaskar Trophy’19. Umar Khan was declared “Man of the Match”, Amresh Yadav from PAB Cricket Academy “B” was declared the “Best Batsman” while Vinayak Joil was declared the “Best Bowler”
