IES VN Sule wins as Ved continues form while Arsh bags a fifer in the ongoing Harris Shield ‘18
Gokuldham High School winning the toss at PJ Hindu Gymkhana elected to bat first notching up 161/10 in their 1st innings. Khush Jain (55 runs) and Harshvardhan (50 runs) were impressive though with their half centuries though the rest of the batsman found it difficult to get going.
IES VN Sule in reply scored 218/10 with Vedprakash Jaiswal who is IES’s backbone continuing to score runs. Vedprakash scored his third successive score of 50+ smashing 64 runs followed by his last two innings which were 58 and 142. Arsh Krishnater came up with an impressive bowling spell as he was the pick of the bowlers taking 5/61 while Vineet Vanikar bagging 3 wkts.
Gokuldham were 172/7 at the end of the game’s play where IES won the match on 1st innings lead.
