Half centurion Sameer Rane helps SS Travels register an easy win over Babyoye in Milan Mega Corporate T20
It was quite a one sided affair at Cross Maidan, Mumbai on 23rd April when SS Travels clashed against Babyoye in the Milan Mega Corporate T20 match. Winning the toss and electing to bat first, SS Travels posted a mammoth 205-6 in 20 overs. Opening pair of Sameer Rane (56 runs off 44 balls) and Ajinkya Diwekar (43 runs off 27 balls) provided the best possible start to their team. Rane was exceptional and he was a treat to watch. The opening batsman had a good mix of aggression and defence in his wonderful innings. Mandar, Vinay, Amit and Sanket picked up one wicket each.
Babyoye could not capitalize on the solid start that was provided by John (45 runs off 33 balls) and were bundled out for a humble 113 in 17.1 overs, losing the match by a huge margin of 92 runs. Rakesh Sawant and Shekhar Mistry bowled well in tandem and accounted for two scalps apiece. SS Travels registered a comprehensive win against Babyoye as they out performed them in all departments.
Sameer Rane (56 runs off 44 balls) was bestowed with the Man of the Match award for his brilliant batting display.
