Capgemini posted a mammoth 174-8 in 20 overs against Orange on 6th March during the Milan Mega Corporate T20 Cricket Tournament match at Cross Maidan, Mumbai. Opening bat Jitendra Panchal top scored with 46 runs off 35 balls and found able allies in middle order in the form of Aditya Mhatre (35 runs off 30 balls) and Grijesh Singh (36 runs off 19 balls). Grijesh Singh turned the match around with his blistering knock which included four boundaries and a six. He was a treat to watch. It was a wonderful batting performance from Capgemini. Orange bowlers bowled their hearts out but were outdone by Capgemini batsmen. Akash Gupta, Nitin Deshmukh, Rishi Mapara and Pramod Harish picked up couple of wickets apiece.
In reply, Orange was restricted to 146-3 in 20 overs, thus falling short of 28 runs. The openers Shreyas Rao (54 not out off 49 balls) and Nishant Kashikar (20 runs off 22 balls) provided a solid start to Orange, but could not take their team home. It was more of a cautious batting effort than an aggressive performance. Though they had seven wickets in hand, Orange team could not fire to achieve the target.
