Fast Bowler Sairaj Patil scalps a 5wkt haul vs Karnatak SA in the A Div of Kanga League 2017

Played at the Karnatak Sports Association at Cross Maidan,  Dadar Union and  Karnatak SA clashed against each other where in Karantak won the toss and elected to field first in order to put the opposition under pressure in bowler friendly conditions.

Batting first, Dadar union were all out for 125/10 in 41.1 overs where in the players chipped in with starts but were not able to convert their 20’s. Spinners Vinaayk Bhoir(3/6) and Vignesh Solanki(3/22) bowled well chipping in with 3wkts each.  However, in reply Karnatak SA were all out for 100/8 in 34 overs before the end of the game’s play. Right arm fast bowler Sairaj Patil who is amongst the emerging talents in Mumbai cricketing circles came up with envious bowling figures of 5/34 in 7 overs. Sairaj generated decent pace and consistently bowled in the right areas.

The match ended in a draw but it was definitely Sairaj who grabbed the attention with his 5wkt haul. Cricketgraph congratulates Sairaj while wishes all the players luck for a great season ahead.
