Enthusiasts Sports Win Over FCC In Veteran Cup 2022

Enthusiasts Sports (ESWA) took on FCC United in the Veteran Cup 2022 in Mumbai. FCC elected to bowl first after winning the toss. ESWA put up a decent total of 155 for 6 wickets in their 20 overs. Opener Chirayu More chipped in 47 off 36 balls alongside Sibie who contributed 45 off 33 as well. Apart fomr them, no other batsmen passed the 15-run mark on the difficult wicket as the FCC bowler’s bowled tremendous spells. Ninad Kadam was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 2 wickets in 4 overs at an economy rate of just 5. Prashant Maurya picked up 2 wickets as well.

On a challenging wicket, the total of 155 was a competitive one. Anuj Khurana was the only one who took the fight to the ESWA bowlers but unfortunately his 23 ball 37 wasn’t enough as they were bowled out for just 103 in the 17th over. Shreyas Rege bowled an exceptional spell of 4 overs picking up 3 wickets and conceding just 10 runs with a maiden over as well. He was well supported by Amit Patil who claimed 3 wickets in his 4 overs. 

Ultimately, ESWA won the game comfortably  by 52 runs.
