Easy victory for Sonnet CC over Ravi Brothers as they entered into Semi Final
of 44th Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial Cricket Tournament (Regd). Played at St. Stephens College Ground.
As last evening rain made early start impossible as organizers tried their best to give best ground & wicket.
Once match started it got reduced to 25 overs side each. 
Ravi brothers won the toss & elected to ball first but in vein as Samarth started to time the ball well & scored match winning 68 in 49 balls (4×8, 6×2) he got valiant support at the other end by Milind Kumar 36 in 15 balls (4×2, 6×4).
For Ravi Brothers Lavit Ahuja taken 4 for 44 & Ajay Chaudhary took 3 for 40.

In reply Deepanshu Kochar made 36 in 30 balls (4×7) & Sikand Alhluwalia 34 in 35 balls (4×4, 6×1) as Ravi brother faultered in chase & only managed to score 142/8. Hari Om Mishra 2 for 15, Samarth Singh 2 for 19, Gaurav Chauhan 2 for 27.
Sonnet CC won the match by 80 runs & entered in Semi Finals. Sonnet CC – 222/9 in 25 overs
Ravi Brothers – 142/8 in 25 over
