Divyansh, Manal hit Centuries while Atharva and Shreyans help Dattu Phadkar XI edge over opposition in the Mahindra Shield ‘18

Played at the KSA, Cross Maidan, U19 Khandu Ragnekar XI batting first could have been in deep trouble had Manal and Divyansh not come to the rescure as the 3^rd highest score apart from them was 15 in their innings.

Divyansh opening the innings went on to score a graceful 119 off 192 (12 fours, 1 six) balls in what was a perfect opener’s knock. It had the right amount of poise, grace, power and patience as he toiled hard between the wickets Divyansh got excellent support from Manal Kawle as they stitched a 161 run stand for the 6^th wkt when team was 5 wkts down for 54 runs. Manal who came at no.6 displayed rock solid resistance facing 265 deliveries to score 102* as Dattu P XI reached 295/9 dec. Left arm quickster Shreyans Bogar was the pick of the bowler taking 5 wkts.

In reply, Dattu Phadkar XI were all out for 204 runs in 1^st innings but Dattu Phadkar collapsed in the 2^nd innings getting all out for just 84 runs as Atharva Poojari ran through the batting line up taking 5/43 and Shreyans taking 3wkts taking his tally of wkts to 8 in the match. With a target of just 181, Dattu Phadkar in a terrific comeback in 2^nd innings won the match by 6wkts with Siddhant Singh (55*) and Atharva Ankolekar (56*) hitting unbeaten half centuries.
