About Vinayak Samant :
Vinayak Samant is a former Indian Domestic Cricketer who has played first class cricket for close to 2 decades. Vinayak has played for multiple states like Tripura, Assam but Mumbai remains his home team for whom he has played the highest number of matches in a prolific 100+ first class matches to his name. Vinayak Samant is known to be a taskmaster when it comes to fitness and discipline. During his early days as a cricketer he used to skip 10000 times a day which speaks a lot for his commitment towards the game.
Vinayak post his cricket career forayed into coaching and has served as a head coach of Mumbai Ranji Team since 2018. Vinayak is a BCCI Level 2 Certified Cricket Coach and as a coach has won Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2018-19 season for Mumbai after 12 years.
