Arpit Dhadve (235) and Kunal (107) put Shantibhai Seth CC on top in the U16 Ghosh Tournament’18-19

Double hundreds are always special at a young age as they mark an introduction of a player in the cricketing world and helps you kickstart your career with a high.  Such was the case with this youngster Arpit who scored a brilliant double hundred as his innings came into notice of everyone in the cricketing circle.

Shantibhai Seth CC after electing to bat first at Oval Maidan notched up 457/5 dec in 94.1 overs out of which their opener Arpit Dhadve scored more than half of the team runs. Arpit smashed 235 off 279 balls laced with 28 fours as he kept the scoreboard ticking batting confidently while Kunal Vatari who came at no.6 scored an unbeaten 107* off 123 balls (15 fours) further solidifying his team’s position in the match.

Payyade SC in reply were bundled out for 141/10 in 43.4 overs as Shantibhai Seth boys grabbed a big win by 316 runs.
