Amit Patil’s 60* Helps Oorja Infinite Prevail Over Invictus Mumbai

Oorja Infinite recorded a dominant win over Invictus Mumbai in the Veteran Cup 2022. Batting first, Invictus managed to put up a total of 153 as they were bowled out with 3 balls to go. Opener Sidhant played a crucial knock of 56 off 53 at the op but unfortunately had to leave the field due to an injury. Priyaj Shah contributed 31 as well but the power punch was provided by Vinay M Rathod who hammered an emphatic 30 off just 16 balls to take the total past the 150 run mark. 

Mayuresh Bhagwate claimed 3 wickets in his 4-over-spell as Samir Sawant picked up 2 for Oorja Infinite. When it was their time to bat, Oorja Infinite left no stone unturned, particularly Amit Patil who hammered an unbeaten 60 off 45 deliveries to take his team home. He formed crucial partnerships with Yogesh and Pratik in the middle stages to make sure his team achieves the target in the 18th over itself. Losing 4 wicket only, Invictus had a subpar outing with the ball as well. 

Oorja Infinity won the game comfortably with 6 wickets in hand.
