All-rounder Sai Patil helps TASC thrash Transformers in FPL match

Sai Patil’s unbeaten knock of 79 runs off just 55 balls was the standout performance of the day as TASC comprehensively defeated Transformers in the Friends Premier League (FPL) match on 21^st Feb in Mumbai. Batting first, Transformers were restricted for a paltry 131-6 in 25 overs, thanks to Ketan (2-31) and Sai’s (2-19) splendid bowling efforts. Apart from the top three batsmen, none of the other Transformers’ batsmen managed a double digit score. Opening bat Ajinkya played well for his 47 and found able allies in Hardik (24) and Gaurav (32).

TASC batsmen made a mockery of Transformers’ bowling as they achieved the target in just 15.5 overs, keeping eight wickets in hand. Parag Pokle (21*) complimented Sai Patil’s heroics as they finished off the game in style.

Sai Patil was declared as the Man of the Match for his match winning all-round performance (79 not out and 2-19 in 3 overs).
