All-Rounder Rakesh Naik leads DTDC to become the winner of Pulse T20 Tournament’19

DTDC team after opting to bat first at the Oval Maidan Ground posted a competitive total of 178/7 in 20 overs. Rakesh Naik was the highest scorer for his team hitting an aggressive 42* while Lalit Sharma (31), Tarun Jadhav (24) and Sushant Kadam (21) chipped in with cameos.

4E Advisrory in reply were bundled out for 66 runs in 16 overs thanks to some tight bowling by the DTDC bowlers. Rajesh Gorde (3/15), Rakesh Sawant (2/15) and Balwant (2/19) were quite effective with the ball instrumental in restricting the opposition to a low total.

DTDC won the finals by 112 runs while Rakesh Naik was declared ‘man of the match”. In 5 matches, Rakesh was named “man of the match” 4 times.

Naik was also declared “Man of the Series” score 180 runs & 16 wickets leading from the front as a captain for DTDC Company.
