All-rounder Prashant sizzles for Global Connect against Lintas India Pvt Ltd in Milan Mega Corporate T2o match
Winning the toss and electing to bat first, Global Connect posted a respectable 154-6 in 20 overs against Lintas India Pvt Ltd on 30th April at Karnataka Ground, Mumbai during the Milan Mega Corporate T20 Tournament. Coming in at no.4, Prashant was the star performer, scoring an unbeaten 63 off just 40 deliveries. Prashant exuded oodles of self-confidence and was the backbone of Global Connect’s batting. Jai was the pick of the bowlers for Lintas picking up 2-30 in his four overs.
It was a disappointing batting performance from Lintas as they were bundled out for a paltry 46 in 12.3 overs, thus losing the match by a huge margin of 108 runs. Rahul was the wrecker-in-chief grabbing 4-12 in 2.3 overs. He bowled consistent line and length and was duly rewarded for his efforts. Prashant who had earlier played his part with the bat, rolled his arm over to pick up 3-13 in his miserly spell of four overs.
For his fantastic all-round efforts, Prashant Yadav (63 not out off 40 balls and 3-13 in 4 overs) was announced as the Man of the Match.
