Achievers Thrash GPCC, Win By 7 Wickets

GPCC and Achievers Cricket Academy locked horns in the MD MEMORIAL CUP 2023 U-14 CRICKET TOURNAMENT. GPCC were bowled out for just 107 in the 33rd over by the Achievers’ bowlers. Varad Raj was the high-scorer with 21 as no other batsman got going. It was safe to say, the bowlers lived up to the expectations. Shashwat Naik’s spell of 3/16 in 7 overs was the best of bowlers. Jshmit Singh and Vivaan Jobanputra claimed 2 wickets a piece. With a monumental bowling effort, Achievers had the upper hand by the end of the first innings.

Without breaking a sweat, Achievers CA chased the total by the 21st over. Jshmit finished off with a brisk 31*. With almost no runs to defend, the GPCC bowlers were found wanting as they lost the game by 7 wickets.

For his 2 wickets and an unbeaten 31, Jshmit was named as the Man of the Match.
