Maxwell Swaminathan scores an impressive 100* for Deccan CC in the Summer Shield ‘19

Deccan CC opting to bat first at Oval Ground, High Court Maidan managed to post a total of 237/10 in 45 overs. Despite not the best of the starts, right handed Maxwell coming at no.4 went on to score an unbeaten 100* off 94 balls ( 6 fours, 2 sixes), Maxwell anchored his team to a respectable total despite the lack of support from the other end.

The Rattlers CC in reply managed to give a close fight eventually falling short of just 3 runs as they scored 234/9 in 44 overs in what was a nail biting match which remained interesting till the very end. Deccan CC bowlers did an impressive job with bowlers coming up with wickets at the right time as they clinched a close shave win!

In the previous match before this, Maxwell had scored an impressive half century (68 runs alongwith 4 wkts) while Akash Jangid had scored a brilliant 108 alongwith Vishal Chacha’s 58 which is a clear indication that Deccan CC batters are in good touch.
