Kaustub Pawar a.k.a KP who used to be a regular name in cricket circles went off the radar a while ago due to a shoulder injury. Post his shoulder operation he slowly came back into action and started playing for local cricket tournaments.
For the last 4-5 months he was in UK playing for Barrow Cricket Club as an opening batsman in the top / premier division.
He was the top scorer in that league, leading the table with 799 runs off 18 matches. His performance was marked with 3 100’s and 3 50s at an average of 50.
KP is now back in India and will be soon playing a friendly 3 day match against the New Zealanders in Delhi.
This would be Kaustub’s first big opportunity post his recovery and cricketgraph team wishes him all the best for the upcoming season.
