It was an exciting 1st match between two competitive teams namely Sulonia cricket academy vs Sporting Union of the Kalyan Premier League. Mumbai sporting Union (Thane) won the toss and elected to bowl first with an aim of reducing them to a low score.
However, things took a complete u-turn when Sulonia cricket academy displayed a great batting performance. Sulonia Cricket Academy Team managed to reach a big total of 315 in 31 overs. A run rate if above 10 runs throughout the innings is not an easy task but Sulonia team did a good job with the bat especially their right handed opener Jay Dhatrak who scored a sensational 144 at the top of the order. Jay came and completely dismantled the entire bowling line up of Mumbai Sporting Union as he was looking comfortable hitting against both the pacers as well as spinners. Jay cleared the ropes with ease and some of his boundaries demanded attention as they were nothing short of class. Apart from Jay, A
yush Iyer and Aarush Patankar gave important cameos and contributed overall to the team’s total scoring 62 & 36 respectively.
In reply, Sulonia cricket academy troubled the opposition with their bowling too as they were all out for just 36 runs in 15.4 overs. Aarush Patankar who had contributed with the bat also became the star bowler of Sulonia as he picked up a 5 wkt haul along with hardly giving any runs to the opposition.
It was a bad day in the office for a good team like Mumbai Sporting Union and a great day for Sulonia cricket academy where everything was going in their favor. It was the 1st match and many more matches are about to come & Cricketgraph wishes both the teams to excel and enjoy the tournament.

We have all seen Sehwag, Afridi, Maxwell & Warner smash those quick centuries but we hardly come across any news where we get to see a woman from Women’s cricket scoring a century with such a swag. But today, Cricketgraph will present you a woman cricketer who smashed one of the most entertaining centuries in the Manoramabai Apte Memorial U-16 Girls Tournament.

It was an exciting semi-final match between two strong teams namely Shardashram School and St. Joseph Convent High school at Islam Gymkhana in Mumbai. Shardashram school won the toss and elected to bat with an aim of putting the opposition under pressure. Shardashram openers lost wickets early but what followed was a sight to behold, it was a carnage by this batsman called Aachal Valanju who made her presence felt at the crease. Aachal came and completely changed the game single handedly with a match winning knock of 111 coming off just 64 balls. Aachal did not only dominate the bowlers but she also smashed boundaries at her will and always kept the run rate floating above 8 runs per over which took her team’s total to 169/3 in 20 overs. Aachal Valanju smashed 20 glorious boundaries and a big six and it was completely a ‘Paisa vasool’ knock from her!
Chasing 170, St.Joseph managed to reach a total of only 103/6 in their 20 overs and Shardashram won the match comfortably by 67 runs. Krutika Mahindrakar and Akshi Gaurav were the pick of the bowlers taking 3/20 and 2/43 respectively. With this they won the semi-finals of the tournament.
WHAT FOLLOWED was a final match against SVIS(Swami Vivekanand) which was a low scoring encounter(SVIS all out for 30 in 8.4 overs). In that match, Shardashram skipper Krutika Mahindrakar took 3/11 followed by 3/11 by Akshi Gaurav. Nirmithi Rane was the pick of the bowlers with a great spell of 3wkts with just 1 run in her 1.1 overs. Chasing just 33 was a cakewalk and Aachal again remained unbeaten on 18* before she helped her team win the finals by 9 wickets.
Who told only man can bat aggressively? Here she is proving everybody wrong with her batting prowess.
Cheers to woman’s cricket..Cricketgraph wishes them all the luck for a great future.

It was a nail biting encounter between two competitive teams namely HPCL & Thane City Police at HPCL ground in Mumbai. HPCL won the toss and elected to field first as the conditions were favorable for their bowlers to put pressure on the Thane Team.
Batting first, Thane City Police managed to reach a very healthy and a competitive total of 230/9 in 35 overs. Openers Saidesh Bhagat and Kishor Suryavanshi gave a good start with Saidesh scoring a fluent 41 off 36 balls. No. 3 batsman Amit Sakpal score 37 runs in 54 balls and No.5 batsman Prakash Patil was the pick of the batsman scoring a well crafted 52 off 56 (5 fours, 1six) balls at the middle order. From HPCL, Abhijit More and Bhushan Patil were the pick of the bowlers taking 4/53 & 2/37 respectively.
It was a wonderful match and a great tough fight put by HPCL too where the match could have gone in anybody’s favor as both the teams were giving their best till the end. Eventually HPCL were all out for 222 in 33.4 overs and fell just 8 runs short of a victory. Even if they would have played 8 more balls, the outcome could have been possibly different. Prashant Suryavanshi the all-rounder of Thane again showed his mettle with the ball taking 5/41 in 7 overs. Prashant broke partnerships time and again and most importantly he striked when the wickets were needed the most.
This is ‘Man of the Match’ Prashant’s second 5 wkt haul in the tournament and he will certainly be a player the opponents will have to be worried in the coming matches of the tournament.

It was the all important final of Matunga Gujarati Seva Mandal Inter School Cricket Tournament encounter between two strong teams namely Matunga Premier School and Shardashram School. This Tournament organised by Shree Matunga Gujarati Seva Mandal & Matushri Vimlaben Khimji Tejukaya Sports. Shardashram who have a decent batting line-up elected to bat first after winning the toss & put Matunga under pressure.
However, Matunga school bowled well as Shardashram boys were all out for just 189 all out. Their wicket-keeper batsman Vedant Murkar who is also the skipper of the side was the saving grace scoring a well crafted 76. Right handed Vedant scored a classy 76 and looked confident throughout his stay at the crease. Mayuresh kadam was the only other batsman apart from Vedant who looked good for his 30. Ayush Singh was the pick of the bowlers from Matunga taking 3 wickets.
Chasing 190 is not the toughest task but Shardashram boys gave their best in the finals as they won by a narrow margin of just 4 runs. Both the teams fought till the en

d before Matunga lost their last batsman in the 45th over. Sachin Rao was the highest scorer from Matunga scoring a fluent 58. Sachin played well but he hardly got any support from the other end. Right arm off-spinner Vignesh Tirlotkar had saved his best for the finals as he scalped 4 important wickets at the right time which played a huge role in restricting Matunga to 184.

Shardashram won the tournament finals & they must be proud of their own performance in the series. Vedant Murkar was adjudged ‘Man of the match’ for the third consecutive time in the tournament while Sachin was awarded ‘Best batsman in the finals” followed by Vignesh (8 wkts in the tournament) and Adarsh Patil getting the ‘Best Bowler’ & Best Fielder” in the finals. It was a wonderful tournament overall & Cricketgraph wishes all of them luck for a great future.

Ayush Jethwa the ‘all-rounder’ we all know by know is not being featured for the first time. Ayush has been a consistent performer in the last few seasons and he is all set for a big leap in the field of cricket. Not only is this kid extremely useful with the ball, he bats like a pro too & on his day he can single-handedly take a match away from the opposition with his all-round skills. He was recently also the recipient of Fireblaze Junior Cricket Awards presented by Cricketgraph.
Ayush who had scored 1425 runs in 25 matches in 2016 with as many wickets was also in the news currently for scoring 156 against IES Bandra in Giles Shield Tournament in January, 2017. But seems like he is not done yet and the boy seems to have become ‘media’s’ darling as he again comes in the limelight with a promising all-round performance in the recently held Vijay Tulpule Cricket Tournament. Ayush was the skipper representing Naren Tamhane’s XI and he played the captain’s role to perfection in the series. In the 3 matches Ayush played, he grabbed two wickets in the 1st match, the last two matches were quite memorable as he took 4wickets in the 2nd match against Ramnath Keni’s XI where in he also took a fabulous hat-trick in the 2nd innings. It was because of his bowling the opposition was all out for just 96 & led his team to a victory comfortably.
In the 3rd match against Vasu Paranjpe’s XI, Ayush elected to bat first and he decided to open the innings as he wanted to leave behind a mark with the bat too before the series ends. Ayush scored a scintillating 94 off just 82 balls which included 11 fours and 1 six and was out trying to hit a six and fell just 5 short of what could have been a memorable century. He also bowled well taking 2 wickets for 22 runs in 7overs. It was a good match for Ayush though his team had lost that match as JSH Ganiga had scored a match-winning 90 for his side.
In the final day, esteemed guests like Dilip Vengsarkar, Amol Muzumdar, Gaitonde Sir and Vasu Paranjpe were present. The guests enjoyed the last day’s play and also distributed awards to the players.
Ayush has been nothing short of excellent in his short journey of cricket so far & he looks all poised to achieve great heights in the field of cricket.
It was the all exciting match between Route Mobile & L&T at the Dadoji kondev Stadium in Thane. Route Mobile had won the toss & elected to bat first after winning the toss as they have a strong batting line up.

Openers Pranav Patil and Arun Yadav gave a great start before Pranav Patil fell for a well made 31. However, Arun Yadav was in a different mood altogether as he went on to score a blazing century. Not only was Arun composed but he stayed at the crease till the end of the innings. Arun wanted to stay till the end as the pitch was big and boundaries were tough & his presence at the crease was important. Right-handed Arun Yadav scored an unbeaten 131* off just 96 balls which included 16 fours & 2 big sixes to enthrall the spectators. It was because of his knock and some late exploits by Sumeet Dhekale, Route Mobile reached a very huge total of 332/6 in 35 overs. It was also some great hitting down the order by Sumit Dhekale where he smashed 34 runs in one over which had 5 big sixes in 6 balls. Bhagwan sanap and Abhimanyu Singh were the pick of the bowlers taking 2/43 and 1/40 respectively.
In reply L&T were all out for just 121 runs in 25.1 overs because of some great bowling by their spinner Bhavik Patel. 2ND change left arm spinner Bhavik Patel scalped 6/35 in 7 overs to dismantle the opposition’s entire batting line up and handing over a big win of 211 runs to Route Mobile.
Bhavik Patel & Arun Yadav were adjudged ‘Man of the match’ for their brilliant individual performances.
Arun Yadav is the same batsman who recently scored 115 ball 179 and 140 ball 208 in the Times Shield Tournament. He is consistently working hard and scoring runs at will. Arun who has a dream of playing either Ranji or IPL is working hard to fulfill his dream & Cricketgraph wishes Arun that he soon gets a call up from the places where he wants to play.

It was the intense pre-quarter finals at the Vengsarkar Academy, Mahul, Mumbai between Deutsche Bank and Capgemini. It was crucial for both the teams to win from here as it would help them qualify for the semi-finals. Winning the toss, Deutsche bank elected to bat first with an aim of attacking the bowlers from the world ‘go’
