Thane, May 9, 2025 — In a thrilling second semi-final of the Thane Premier League (TPL) 2025, FTL XI defeated Ambernath Rising Cricket Club by 28 runs at Dadoji Konddev Stadium, Thane, to book their spot in the finals.
After winning the toss, FTL XI elected to bat first and put up an impressive total of 221/5 in 20 overs. The batting hero of the match was Hardik Tamore, who smashed 71 runs in just 51 balls, including 8 fours and 2 sixes. He was well supported by Sairaj Patil (59 off 21 balls, 4 fours and 7 sixes) and Yatin Madhavi (55 off 39 balls, 4 fours and 3 sixes), helping their team set a huge target.

In the first semi-final match of the Thane Premier League (TPL) 2025, Eknath Shinde Cricket Club-II played brilliantly and defeated SR’s Group by 60 runs at the Dadoji Konddev Stadium in Thane.
SR’s Group won the toss and chose to bowl first. But Eknath Shinde Cricket Club-II batted strongly, scoring a big total of 236 runs in 20 overs. The star of the innings was Suved Parkar, who smashed 75 runs from just 38 balls, hitting 9 fours and 6 sixes. He was well supported by Arjun Shetty who stayed not out with 48 runs, and Siddhant Singh who scored 40 runs. Their powerful batting made it hard for the bowlers to stop the runs.
SR’s Group, while chasing the target, started well with Shaun Rodrigues scoring 45 runs, but they kept losing wickets regularly. Akash Parkar also hit a quick 36 runs, but no other batsman could stay long enough to chase the target. In the end, they were all out for 176 runs in 18 overs.

The match went down to the wire and kept fans on the edge of their seats till the last ball.
Boy’s Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first. Their innings struggled against tight bowling from Ambernath Rising, especially from Prathamesh Mahale, who delivered a match-winning spell. Saludar N.M. won the toss and decided to bat first. They scored a huge total of 232 runs in 20 overs, losing only 4 wickets. The star of the match was Siddharth Mhatre, who remained not out on 89 runs from 53 balls. He hit 6 fours and 4 sixes and was named Man of the Match.
