Pranav continued his batting run on day 2 of Bhandari cup after shattering records on first day. As the last news came in pranav was batting on 1009 runs. He took just 323 balls to reach the FOUR figure mark hitting mind boggling 129 fours and 59 sixes. His school team has so far amassed 1465 runs.
Pranav is a 16 year old from kalyan and shot to limelight yesterday when he scored massive 652 runs in a single day in interschool competition organized by MCA.
Take a look at this incredible match scorecard:
Friends Premier League witnessed a good match between ACT and HighFlyers team. One man’s contribution tilted the match in HighFlyers favor.
Batting first on a bowling pitch, none of the highflyers batsman could withstand excellent bowling by ACT team except one, should it be two instead. Niranjan Tungare and Jigar shah batted well for the second wicket. Once Niranjan fell for well made 26, Jigar got absolutely no support from the other end but Jigar played a ‘Jigari’ knock, staying till the end ensuring their bowlers have a good target to bowl at. Jigar remained unbeaten on 98 in just 72 balls. Setting a target of 160 to win.
ACTs chase started well but lost momentum in the middle overs Abhishek Pandey and Jigar shah tightened the screws. In the end ACT fell short by 25 runs. It will be remembered as Jigar Shah’s match in-spite of missing his century by just 2 runs.
