It was quite a one-sided affair on 4th June at Cross Maidan, Mumbai, when Ratnakar Bank Limited (RBL) took on Digimo in the final match of Milan Mega Corporate T20 Tournament. Batting first, Digimo was done and dusted for a paltry 86 in 16.5 overs. RBL bowlers bowled well in tandem, with Mahesh, Sandesh and Sameer picking up two wickets apiece. Not only did they strike at regular intervals, but also did not allow Digimo batsmen to score freely.

Chasing 87 runs was not going to be a daunting task for RBL. The opening pair of Sandesh Romade (34 not off 22 balls) and Pranesh Pawar (50 not out off 36 balls) batted well together and took their team home in a matter of just 9.4 overs. Sandesh had a fantastic outing with both, bat and ball, and was pivotal in his team’s success in the final match. There was nothing to cheer about for Digimo bowlers as they went wicket-less.

Sandesh Romade (2-22 in 4 overs and 34 not out off 22 balls) was declared as the Man of the Match for his wonderful all-round display.
