Held at the Vengsarkar Academy in Mahul, Mumbai. Deutsche Bank XI & Datamatics Global XI clashed for the all important finals of the Masters Cup. The pitch was slightly tilted towards the bowlers and Datamatics elected to bowl first after winning the toss.

Their decision to bowl first was quite spot on as Deutsche Bank was reduced to just 126/8 in 20 overs. It was a tight bowling performance where in the bowlers hardly gave any room for errors. Not a single batsman scored more than 25runs till no.7 until Sanket Kankonkar acted as an angel for Deutsche Bank as he smashed a 29ball 46(1fours, 4sixes) at no.8 to help his team reach a somewhat respectable total. Left-arm spinners Dhruvin Dharamsey & Nehal Katakdhond were the pick of the bowlers taking 2/21 & 2/16 respectively in their 4 overs while Kuldeep Vishwakarma and Ritesh Palav also picked a wicket each.

Chasing 128 in a T20 match is like chasing 220-230 in an ODI which is 9 out of 10 times achievable & Datamatics similarly chased down the score successfully winning the match by 4wkts and 1.1 overs to spare. Even though they lost a few quick wickets at the top but Kuldeep Vishwakarma at no.4 smashed a match winning unbeaten 57* off 41balls(6 fours) to take Datamatics Global Services Ltd. towards the victory line.

Datamatics won the finals comfortably and lifted the Masters Cup title while Kuldeep Vishwakarma was declared ‘Man of the Match’ for his all-round performance. Held at the National CC Ground in Mumbai, it was the all-important semi-finals between Goregaon Center & DY Patil, Nerul. On a good batting track, Goregaon center elected to bat first with an aim of making a big score and put the opposition boys under pressure.

Batting first Goregaon Sports Club made 194/10 in 43.5 overs which is not the biggest of scores to defend. Sidak Singh was the highest scorer smashing a well crafted and solid looking 62 to push his team to an atleast respectable score. Aman farooqi also scored 33 but the rest of the batsman could not fire. Left-arm spinner Simant Dubey was again the pick of the bowlers for Nerul scalping 3/35 and continuing his form from the quarter-finals where he had taken 3wkts too while sunil verma also chipped in with 3/24.

Chasing 195, Goreagaon boys made an excellent comeback with the ball as they restricted DY Patil Nerul center to 79 all-out in 25.3 overs. Medium Pacer Arjun Thakkar won the hearts of his team mates as he performed exceedingly well taking (5/23), the perfomance which was needed at the right time to dismantle the opposition.

Goregaon Center won the crucial semi-finals by 115runs and the highlight of the match was certainly Arjun thakkar and sidak singh who steered their team towards the victory line. Cricketgraph congratulates Goregaon boys and wishes them luck for the finals.

Easy win for ‘Rann Star CC’ as they entered into Pre Quarter Final, here at St. Stephens Collage Ground in 44th Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial Cricket Tournament Regd. against Rohtak Road Gymkhana.

Bizare innings played by RR Gymkhana batsmans as they collapsed to lowest total of the tournament on a batting friendly track of St. Stephens Collage.
Batsman did’nt applied any application to stay on the crease till 40th over. They collapsed like nine pins on 87 in 22.2 overs.
Only double digit score came from the bat of Dhruv Ghai he tried his best as he made 30 in 43 balls (4×3, 6×2)
For Rann Star Himank Singh bowled fiery spell of fast bowling in which he scalped 4 top order batsman for 34 runs. He got valient support by Tejas Baroka as he also took 4 for 30.

In reply it was seems easy as chasing target was low in stipulated 40 overs for Rann Star CC, but Abhishek Vats bowled a impressive spell in which he took 2 early wickets for 29 runs.
Hritik Kanojia played a solid hand of 47 runs in 29 balls with (4×7, 6×3).

It was the all important finals between two promising teams namely GEBS & Lupin at the Sassanian Ground at Azad Maidan in Mumbai. GEBS won the toss & elected to bat first with an aim of making a big score in the 1st innings.

Batting first, GEBS made the full use of batting first as they posted a competitive total of 157/6 in 20 overs which is always a defendable score. Sunil Yadav was the highest scorer smashing 39* off just 28 balls followed by 38 off 28 by Yuvang and quick 20s by Darshan & Tausif. The bowlers could have done a better job of restricting the batsman to a score below 150 but almost every batsman contributed in their capacity which helped them cross the 150run mark.

Chasing 158, Lupin were all- out for 100/10 in 15 overs and it was some amazing display of bowling. Right-arm off spinner Yuvang Shah bowled one of the finest spells in the recent times scalping 5wkts while giving away only 6runs in his 2.4 overs. What’s more his hat-trick in the 3rd over proved to be a game changer. Manoj soni was also terrific as he did not gave a single run in his 2 overs while taking 2 wkts( 2overs, 0/2). It was a match where GEBS players did a great team work to win the all important finals of the JD Sports Tournament by 57 runs.

At 44th Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial Cricket Tournament Regd. Today on a rain affected day AC sports vs Vijay Dahiya Cricket Academy. Fought for pre quater final spot in which Vijay Dahiya Academy got over the line as victorious.
In a rain curtailed day match got reduced to 30 overs each side. After winning the toss Vijay Dahiya Academy chose to ball first in a hope of getting early breakthroughs, in which they somehow got success as Kuldeep Hooda bowled a nice spell of fast bowling with that AC sports got themselves on backfoot.
Vikram Dhariwal (captain) played an valient & experienced knock of 62 in 47 balls (4×3, 6×4). After his dismissal Shivam Sharma & Sunil More took responsibilty to score quick runs & get them a respectable score to chase.

In bowling department Kuldeep Hooda, Vision Panchal, Gurdeep Singh Sodhi took 2 wickets each to restrict on a competitive target of 205 in stipulated 30 overs.

In reply AC Sports fast bowlers bowled a unplayable spell from both ends. As they reduced Vijay Dahiya Academy to 50 for 6 in 7 overs.
Mrinal Saini bowled a splended new ball spell as he took 3 for 35 & Achal Singla bowled in tendum & toom 3 for 45 as well.
But both fast bowlers efforts went in vein as the loss the match by 2 wickets in final over of the innings.
Kuldeep Hooda played a scinitilating, all round innings of 97 in which huge sixes (4×6, 6×7), he batted with brut power he fell short of a fine hundred by 3 runs only.
He got valient support at the other end by Ankur Jhulka who scored 38 not out with an Groin injury.
Vijay Dahiya Academy won the match by 2 wickets in 29.2 overs.

After toiling hard for so many matches, it was finally the day when Mahul Center & Matunga Center clashed with each other for the crucial finals of the 27th Kalpesh Koli Tournament. Held at New Hind Sports Club, Matunga boys elected to field first after winning the toss to put Mahul boys under pressure.

Batting first, Mahul center were bundled out for just 155/10 which is not the biggest of scores to defend especially in crucial finals. Right-arm off spinner Harshal Jadhav once again bowled a nice spell taking 4/29 while left arm spinner Saurav Kumar chipped in with 3/40 which completely damaged the opposition’s batting line up. In reply, Matunga Center did felt some early jitters as they were 21/4 at one time but talented Vedprakash Jaiswal(44) & Harshal Jadhav(29) stitched a very important partnership which brought back the momentum. Kastubh Thakare at 8 down played a match winning knock of 63 while SriOm Sanap also played a crucial hand contributing with a solid 38. Eventually Matunga made 245/9 and it was the collective efforts of all the boys which led them to a win.

The legend of swing bowling in India Zaheer Khan, Mr. Pankaj Gopal (LIC Regional Manger Corporate Communication Dept Western Zonal Office) and Prof. Ratnakar Shetty (GM Sports Development BBCI) , Mr Unmesh Khalvilkar (Secretory MCA)  was present for the function. Siddhesh Jadhav with 176 runs at an average of 86 was declared the ‘best batsman of the tournament’ while spinner Sahil Shetty with 24scalps in 3matches was declared the ‘best bowler of the tournament’ while SriOmSanap was declared the ‘man of the match for the finals’. Held at Karnataka Cricket Ground in Mumbai, it was the all important finals of the tournament between Akumentis and Abbott healthcare. Abbott won the toss and elected to field first as there was some due and the track looked good to bowl first.

Their decision to bowl first was quite spot on as they restricted Akumentis Sports club to just 127/9 in 20 overs which is 9 out of 10 times chaseable. Even in this low scoring match they had their opener Aatish Gholtkar who chipped in with a solid looking 53ball 55 but he lacked support from the other end. The running between the wickets also appeared to be sloppy as there were as many as 4run outs in the Akumentis batting line up. Right arm fast bowler Rahul Chavarkar was the pick of the bowlers taking 2/26 followed by a wicket each for Nilesh Gadekar & Sandesh Agre.

Chasing 130 is a cakewalk most of the times but Akumentis bowlers did gave a tough fight. Opener Rehman Shaikh scored a solid 45 off 42balls but the rest of the batsman at the top could not fire. In fact at one point 36runs were needed in the last 4 overs and it was again Rahul Chavarkar who changed the script of the match as he came and smashed 23runs in the 18th over completely turning the game in Abbott’s favor. Eventually Abbott won the match with Rahul remaining unbeaten on 35* off just 20balls (2fours, 2sixes).

It was the all important semi-finals of the U/14 Singhania Tournament between IES Mulund & Singhania School held at the Raymonds Cricket Ground in Mumbai. Singhania School (SCA) won the toss and elected to bat first as they have a strong batting line in the likes of Jay Jain, Aryan Dalal & other talented kids.

Batting first, Singhania Boys could have done a better job considering their strong batting line up but still they came up with a defendable score of 185/10 in 34.4 overs where in their opener Aryan Dalal scored a very solid looking 40 off 72balls(4fours). The pick of the scorers was Jay Jain scoring a crucial half-century (54 off 53) while also stitching a very important 100 run partnership with Aryan Dalal which helped them atleast cross the 150run mark. Shreyas was the pick of the bowlers taking 3/28 followed by 2/12 & 2/27 by Hrishikesh & Herambh.

Chasing 186, IES Mulund were all out for 144/10 in 34 overs. It was a great bowling perfomance from Singhania bowlers which restricted them to just 144 and defend a match of a low total. Mandar G was the pick of the bowlers taking 3/20 in 5 overs followed by 2/15 by Srivatsa. Left-arm spinner Aryan Dalal also bowled well chipping in with 2/18 in his 7 overs followed by 2/23 by Anuj.

Singhania school earned a commendable win in the semi-finals while it was a collective team efforts put by the Singhania boys while all-rounder Aryan Dalal was declared ‘man of the match’ for scoring 40 & also taking 2wkts. Batting first, it was a low scoring match indeed and the pitch was a little tricky for the batsman to capitalize and make big scores. Goregaon center was bundled out for 124/10 in just 34.3 overs where in Siddarth Sharma & Nakul Mehta were the highest scorers with 30 & 21 respectively. Kartik Mishra was the wrecker in chief taking 4/30 in his 9 overs followed by 3wkts for Tanvish Vaze & 2wkts for Parth Rai.

Chasing 125 should not be a tough task but Goregaon boys gave a terrific comeback with the ball as they restricted the opposition to just 75 all out in 30.3 overs. Right-arm medium pacer Aashray Sajnani & left-arm spinner Abhishek Yadav attacked the batsman in tandem as they picked up 8wkts together while giving away only 44runs. Aashray came up with bowling figures of 4/16 in 7overs (3maidens) while Abhishek came up with bowling figures of 4/28 in 9 overs(4maidens) to help their team win the match by 49runs.

Batting first, it was not the best of the performances with the bat as Piramal Healthcare were all out for 116/5 in 20 overs. The pitch was a little tricky and slightly favoring the bowlers more. Almost every batsman gave a start in 10’s and 20’s but none of the batsman could convert it into a big score. Rahul kulkarni at no.4 was the highest scorer with a solid looking 36 off 40balls which actually helped them cross the 100+ run mark. Dayanand Patil was the pick of the bowlers taking 2/35 in 4 overs followed by a wkt each for Kapil, Nilesh & Ashish.

Chasing 117 at below 6runs per over is 9.99 times achievable out of 10 but Piramal boys gave an excellent comeback with good bowling and fielding restricting Global Hospital to just 89/10 in 17.5 overs. Gaurang patel was the pick of the bowlers taking 3/29 in his 4 overs followed by 2/11 by Satish and 2/17 by left-arm spinner Rahul Kulkarni.
