Reliance GSC opting to bat first at the New Hind Ground registered a total of 219/10 in 53.1 overs. Prathamesh Pawar coming at no.7 top scored with 71 runs in 60 balls laced with 7 fours and 5 sixes. Defending 220 vs Automotive Team, it was Nishant Williams proving to be the wild card of Reliance Team as he came up with a match winning bowling spell.

Nishant took 6/47 in 8.3 overs providing wickets at almost every over he came to bowl while he was nicely supported by Meghan Pednekar who took 4/43 in 11 overs restricting Automotive CC to 129 runs all out in 33.3 overs. Sachin Sanghvi was the lone fighter for Automotive scoring a gritty 46 off 102 balls though he lacked support from the other end.
Result- Reliance GSC won the match by 90 runs.
JNS Jaguars and MRV Risers went head to head in the Bayside Sports School Dad’s cricket tournament at the Central Cricket Ground. MRV Risers won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Put into bat , Jaguars managed a competitive 157/9 at the end of 20 overs. Shantanu Agasti was the star with the bat as he scored an unbeaten 49. He was well supported by Hemal Chitalia, who scored a quick fire 23. Harish Shroff was the star with the bowl for Risers as he took 3/25.
MRV Risers had to chase 158 for the win but never really got going. Jay Pandya, the off spinner, was in fine form for Jaguars as he ran through the middle order of the Risers. He finished with impressive figures of 3/16. The Risers could only manage 86 runs and Shailesh Sanklav was the highest scorer for them with 35 runs.
JNS Jaguars won the match by 71 runs and remained at the top of their group. Shantanu Agasti was given the Man of the Match.

Played at the BKC Ground in Mumbai, Assam team after being put to bat first were all out for 157 runs in 53.2 overs. Apart from opener Subham Mandal’s 52, most of the batters found it difficult to face the Mumbai spinners Saksham and Shreyas Gurav. Saksham came up with excellent bowling figures of 5/18 in 15 overs including 9 maidens while Shreyas Gurav took 4/13 in 8.2 overs with 3 maidens.

Mumbai team in reply scored a massive 456/4 dec in 76 overs thanks to a scintillating double ton by Bhupen Lalwani. Opening the innings, Bhupen who has been in rich vein of form went on to score a marathon knock of 269*off 259 balls laced with 52 boundaries and 2 sixes. Bhupen also received excellent support from the skipper Hardik Tamore who scored 139 off 169 balls (18 fours, 2 sixes). Both Hardik and Bhupen also stitched a record 358 run stand between themselves to put Mumbai team in a commanding position in the match.
Assam Team trailing 299 runs in 2nd innings are 204/5 in 47.3 overs as of now and things definitely look difficult for them as a victory for Mumbai team is quite inevitable on the cards.
Taki Team after being put to bat first at LIC Cross Maidan posted a healthy total of 241/3 dec in 44.4 overs. After an early strike with opener Parag Jadhav back in the hut for a duck, Dahisar Youngstars were off to a good start however opener JerviIs Ambosta and Rupesh Naik changed the game for Taki Team stitching a 228 run partnership in 42.4 overs. Opener Jerviis batted till the end scoring 100* off 157 balls (10 fours) while Rupesh Naik went on to score the 2nd highest individual score of Kanga across all divisions hitting a classy 131 off just 103 balls (15 fours, 2 sixes).
Dahisar Youngstars were on the verge of defeat but narrowly escaped the match as they had 2 wkts in hand at the end of the game’s play resulting in a draw. Opener Rohit Ghagare (41) and lower order batsman Rahul Joshi (46) gave crucial contributions while left arm spinner Santosh Dhande took 4/55 in 22 overs as the match ended in a draw.
Also for the records, this 228 run stand for the 2nd wicket between Rupesh and Jerviis is the highest partnership for 2nd wicket in Kanga League 2019 across all divisions.

You talk about any pathan in cricket and they will be quite popular in the cricketing world and Arman Pathan seems to be no exception at club level as he has won the Most Popular Player (Yellow Cap) of Club Cricket for the month of November by a big margin.
Arman received a staggering 902 fb votes defeating his closest contender Akash Daiya by 260 votes. By the way, Arman Pathan plays Kanga League from Parsee Cyclists team and he is touted by many to be a cricketer to watch out for. Mumbai 6 December, 2019 : Ex Sri lankan legendary spinner Rangana Herath inaugurated flood light facility indoor nets at MCC Indoor Cricket Academy at Ghodbounder Road Thane.
Recently Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer had inaugurated the academy.
Ranagana Herath was very impressed with the kind of facilities where players can get training though out the year.
International players and coaches like Wasim Jaffer, Rangana Hearath Chaminda Vaas and Jwala Singh will coach the boys in this academy. MCC JWALASPORTS FOUNDATION has produced many cricketers like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Prithivi Shaw in the past.

Academy will provide world class cricket coaching experience to the students. Academy is having 5 indoor and two out door nets with light facilities. With all day video analysis and bowling Machine facilities all the time. And this will will be run 356 days in a year.
MCC and JWALASPORTS FOUNDATION is promoting cricket from many years in Mumbai and now this will be first indoor cricket academy in thane so this will surely benefit local boys in thane.

Utkarsh Vidyalaya after opting to bat first at Sainath Sports Club ground were all out for 109 runs in 35.2 overs. The bowlers did a really good job of restricting the opposition to a low total wherein Nitin Mourya was the pick of the lot coming up with 4/29 in 8.2 overs alongwith 2 maidens. Rohit Melge with 2/22 also bowled well.
Viva College in reply chased down the total with ease scoring 112/5 in 28.2 overs winning the match by 5 wkts. Ihsaan Amin scored a crucial 30* off 52 balls alongwith all-rounder Nitin Mourya who chipped in with 25 runs making it an all round performance towards his team’s win.
With this win, VIVA College win the finals and become the winners of the MCA Intercollegiate U19 Cricket Tournament’19
Canara Vijay CC after being put to bat first at Sydenham College Cricket Ground were bundled out for 62 runs in 1st innings in 25.2 overs thanks to a brilliant spell of bowling by Sagar Khatri who came up with 5/16 in 13.2 overs. Dhawal Khimani also bowled well coming up with 4 wkts.
Mohan CC in reply declared their 1st innings at 144/5 in 24.1 overs with opener Prashant Yadav (46) & Ameya Dighe (31) top scoring for Mohan CC. With a trail of 82 runs, Canara Vijay were again bundled out for a low total of 109 runs in 25.3 overs giving a target of just 28 runs to Mohan CC.
In the 2nd innings Sagar once again proved too difficult to handle coming up with 7/41 in 12.3 overs. For Mohan CC it was a mere formality to chase in 2nd innings as they won the match by 10 wkts outright.

VK Krishna Menon School batting first at Islam Gymkhana ground notched up a massive total of 449/5 dec in 71.2 overs. Shashvat Kapoor who had scored a hundred in his previous outing continued his terrific form scoring a swashbuckling 196 off 150 balls vs Children’s Academy. Coming at no.4, Shashvat also stitched a match winning 251 run stand with Yash Sabnani who scored 138 off 128 balls.
Children’s Aid Academy in reply were all out for 107 runs and 65 runs in both their innings as VK Krishna Menon won the match outright by an innings & 277 runs. Akshat Pathak from VK Krishna Menon took 6 wkts in the match while Kush Yadav and Mustafa bagged 3 wkts a piece to ensure VKKM won the match in a commanding manner.
