Played at the MIG Cricket Club in Mumbai, MRV Risers after opting to bat first managed to score a decent total of 154/10 in 20 overs. Opener Shailesh Sankav top scored with 45 runs in 32 balls while the rest of the batters chipped in with 20’s to ensure their team reaches a respectable total. From the bowlers, Avanish Shah was the pick of the lot taking 3/21 in 4 overs.
Chasing 155, JBCN United were off to a really shabby start with 2 wickets down for 6 runs. However, it did not took much time for them to change the game on a good track of MIG Cricket Club in Mumbai. Nitin Kukreja at no.4 blasted his way through a hurricane knock. Nitin took mere 40 balls to score an unbeaten 83* which consisted 8 fours and a six while he was nicely supported by Allwyn Rao who played the anchors role with 40* off 31 balls. It was their unbeaten 111* run stand which steered JBCN to a 7 wickets win with 8 balls to spare.

Susbea Pro after being put to bat first by Omni Global Sports were all out for 134 runs in 29.3 overs. It was a top order collapse where in most of their batters found it difficult to get going. Riyaz Shaikh at no.6 top scored with 48 runs which perennially saved his team from a low total. Apart from him, Ankit Jain scored 27 runs supporting Mayuresh with a crucial middle order partnership. From the bowlers, Omkar Maldikar with 4/21 in 6 overs was the pick of the lot.
Defending a low total of 134, Susbea Pro did a fantastic job of restricting Omni Global Sports to 114 all out in 25.1 overs. The bowler who made all the difference was all-rounder Ankit Jain who came up with sensational bowling figures of 6/29 in 8 overs. Ankit was bang on with his line & length which reaped rewards for him as well as his team.

Played at Shastri Park, New Delhi, Rajput Gymkhana Cricket Academy in New Delhi opting to bat first posted a massive total of 400/8 in 45 overs. These are the kind of totals which can put pressure on any kind of teams! Openers Utkarsh and Mohit gave a solid 114 run stand while it was Saurav Nautiyal top scoring the innings with 117 runs off 75 balls. Saurav smashed 8 fours and 6 sixes with a strike rate of almost 160 while also stitched a 219 runs partnership with Kaptan who scored an equally impressive 87 off 67 balls.
Royal Tigers in reply were bundled out for 219 runs in the 34th over with Nitin top scoring with 87 runs. No.10 batsman Ajit Singh also showed some grit hitting a well fought 57. However, the lack of support from the other players ensured these half centuries weren’t enough to even call it a tough fight. The bowlers did a neat job with Prince and Manekh bagging 3 wickets each.

Played at the scenic MIG Cricket Club in Mumbai, Yoddhas Smashers opting to bat first posted a decent total of 168/6 in 20 overs. Even though, their team lost some early wickets, it was their experienced campaigner Sivanandan Konar rescuing his team with a valiant half century. Shiva as he is fondly called scored a sublime 54 off 33 balls while also stitched a very important partnership with Nilay Shah who scored 28 runs. Rishi down the order also played a good cameo of 10 ball 21*. From the bowlers, Rahul Sodha (2/26) and Sunil Yadav (2/28) were the pick of the lot.

Cargo Cricket Club in reply were fortunate that they were provided a brilliant start, courtesy to their opener Akshay Phaterpekar. Akshay went on to score a brilliant knock of 80 runs taking only 51 balls (6 fours, 6 sixes) with a strike rate of 157.00. Even though wickets kept on tumbling from the other end, Akshay continued to play his natural game inflicting maximum damage. Cargo CC eventually won the match by 3 wickets while Akshay was declared man of the match.

Played between Shivseva CC and AB Cricket Academy in Mumbai, Shivseva CC batting first posted a good total of 135/4 in 20 overs. Coming at no.3, Jay Nadar single handedly anchored his team’s innings with an impressive knock of 74* in 64 balls. Jay batted till the very end hitting 8 fours and a six to keep the scoreboard ticking.
AB Cricket Academy in Mumbai in reply were all out for mere 35 runs in what turned out to be a batting collapse. Shivseva bowlers really kept it tight with Rudra Mehta, Prasoon and Sarthak bagging 2 wickets a piece. Jay Nadar for his unbeaten half century was declared man of the match.

After being put to bat first by Breach Candy at the Cross Maidan (Youth’s Own Union Ground), Nanavati Hospital scored a more than decent total of 175/3 in 20 overs. Openers Dinesh Pawar (30 runs) and Akshay Powale stitched a very good opening start forging almost 60 runs in the first 6 overs. Akshay Powale top scored for his team scoring 53 off mere 28 balls smashing 7 fours in it. Praful Tambe (42 runs) and Pratik Patade (37*) also chipped in with crucial contributions at the middle order ensuring their team reaches a decent total on board.
Defending 176, Breach Candy in reply could only muster 125/3 in 20 overs with opener Pradeep Kshirsagar batting through the innings remaining unbeaten on 53*. Nanavati Hospital bowlers really did a good job of keeping the batsman in check and not allowing the opposition to free their hands. Almost, all the bowlers chipped in with contributions but it was all-rounder Pratik Patade with 2/13 in 4 overs being the pick of the lot.

Santosh Sports Cricket Academy seems to be on a roll with two commanding wins so far in the U10 Masters Cup T20 Tournament’21. In the first match vs GM Cricket Academy, SPCA scored 133/4 in 20 overs while restricting GM C.A to 108.8 in 20 overs. All-rounder Shreyas Khilare was the player of the match for scoring a well crafted knock of 55 runs and then also contributing with the ball taking 2/17 in 4 overs.
In the 3rd league match, it was yet another win for SPCA. Batting first SPCA “A” scored 105/7 in 20 overs. In reply, they restricted Shreyas Cricket Academy to 103 runs in what turned to be a very close match for both the teams. Shreyas bagged his 2nd man of the match award for bowling an economical spell of 2/11 in 4 overs while also chipping in with the bat.

ASEGO XI batting first at Vengsarkar Cricket Academy in Mumbai, Mahul posted a mammoth total of 223/7 in 20 overs. Opener Ronak Shah went all guns blazing hitting an electrifying knock of 98 runs in mere 49 balls falling just 2 short of a well deserved century. Ronak who smashed 14 fours and 4 sixes was well supported by no.3 batsman Nirav Gohel who played a blinder of an innings hitting 73 in mere 33 balls. Nirav who was man of the match in 1st match seems to be in a different zone with the bat as he smashed 7 fours and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 220+.
From the bowlers, Pritam Shinde, Rohit Wagh and Rohan Bane bagged 2 wickets a piece. It was also good to see Ramesh Powar, the former Indian test Cricketer and a veteran of 470 first class wickets chipping in with 4 overs and still looking as active as he can at the age of 43.
Old Monks in reply managed 177/9 in 20 overs with a well crafted half century by Vijay Singh who scored 56 off 38 balls. Rohan Bane also contributed with the bat scoring a quickfire 36 off 18 balls.

Avinash Salvi Foundation after opting to bat first at Star Sports Academy Ground in Pune posted a total of 162/6 in 40 overs. Opening the innings, all-rounder Mann Bhanushali top scored with a solid knock of 76 runs in 126 balls laced with 16 boundaries. With wickets tumbling from the other end, Mann kept his calm and stitched his innings to ensure his team reached a respectable total to defend. From the bowlers, Dhruv Narkhede with 2/6 in 5 overs including 2 maidens was the pick of the lot.

HK Bounce U14 team in reply chased down the score with ease thanks to a match winning 86 run stand for the 3rd wicket between Dhairyasheel and skipper Aarya Mone. Dhairya scored a well placed 42 while Aaarya remained unbeaten scoring 50* off 82 balls winning the match by 6 wickets and 6 overs to spare. Mann Bhanushali for his valiant knock as well as taking two crucial top order wickets recieved champ of the match award while Aaarya Mane recieved player of the match to steer his team towards the victory line.
