Played at Thakur Stadium in Kandivali, Mumbai, Patel Cricket Coaching Center opting to bat first posted a massive total of 286/2 in 40 overs. Captain Hamza Khan (58 runs) and Gajanan Nargpol stitched a brilliant 117 run opening stand which set the tone for their innngs. Gajanan on the other hand converted his good start into a massive unbeaten 143* off 136 balls. Gajanan Narapgol smashed 22 fours batting from start to end to push his team towards a commanding total.
Yuva Cricket Club in reply could only manage 99/9 in 40 overs with Muhammad Taha’s 3/9 in 8 overs alongwith 3 maidens being the pick of the lot. The rest of the bowlers also did a fairly commendable job with the ball as Patel Cricket Coaching Center won the match by 187 runs. Gajanan Narapgol was declared “man of the match” for his impressive knock of 143 runs.
Played at Fatima Cricket Ground in Vidyavihar, ACE CC after being put to bat first posted a decent total on board of 171/8 in 20 overs. Niket Korgaonkar at no.5 scored 48 runs off 32 balls which pushed the team towards a respectable total. From the bowlers, Bhavin Gala and Lavesh Mehra with 2 wickets each were the pick of the lot.
Chasing 172, Kutchi Pumas opener Manav Prasad made complete mayhem of the opposition’s bowling attack as he single handedly dismantled the bowling attack with a brutal hundred. Manav went on to score a rapid 110* off just 49 balls making it one of the fastest centuries of this season in JFSC. Manav smashed 12 fours and 7 sixes to sail Kutchi Pumas towards a comfortable 8 wicket win with 4.2 overs to spare. Manav for his unbeaten hundred was declared “man of the match”

No matter rich or poor, but every parent has a aspiration to see their kids do well and in one of the recent matches, it was a prime example of a little boy making everyone proud with an impactful performance. Aditya Khadka from Patel Cricket Coaching Center in Mumbai recently bagged man of the match award in the popular Cricfit Premier League.
Aditya’s mother is a househelp who works at multiple houses while his father works as a security guard in Vashi and it’s certainly inspiring to see the little boy making a mark for himself despite all the challenges and struggles he has to face. Credit also goes to the Patel Cricket Coaching Center led by Head Coach Kadir Patel for backing up such kids, promoting them and giving them an opportunity to play competitive cricket.
Kingly Sports Club opting to bat first at Thakur Stadium were all out for 82/10 in 23.2 overs. Aditya Khadka proved to be the pick of the lot returning with bowling figures of 3/20 in 5 overs. Apart from him, Mahboob and Mohammad bagged 2 wickets each. For Patel Coaching Center, it looked like mere formality as they went on to win the match by 9 wickets with opener Asmith Kashyap remaining unbeaten on 37* off 41 balls to anchor the chase.
Mumbai after being put to bat first were least deterred as they went on to completely dominate the Pondicherry bowlers amassing a massive total of 645 runs. Mumbai Declared their innings at 645/7 in 147.5 overs with 4 of their batters smashing impressive hundreds. Openers Jash Ganiga (114 runs) & Sourabh Singh (103) set the platform with a 204 run opening stand followed by hundreds from Vedrakash Jaiswal (102 runs) and Aayush Zimare (133 runs) at the middle order. Raj Waghela, Suryansh Shedge and Musheer Khan also smashed half centuries.

Pondicherry in reply were all out for 298 runs courtesy Mumbai’s fast bowler Himanshu Singh wrecking havoc with a fifer. Himanshu came up with bowling figures of 5/105 in 30 overs including 7 maidens being the pick of the lot from Mumbai. Receiving a follow on, Pondicherry were again cleaned up for 189 runs & this time all-rounder Musheer Khan bagging 5 wickets. Himanshu took another 3 wickets in the 2nd innings as he finished with overall bowling figures of 8/169 in 53 overs including 12 maidens.
Mumbai won the match by an innings and 158 runs stamping their authority in the Cooch Behar Trophy as a team to watch out for.

Sachin Tendulkar XI after opting to bat first posted a total of 243/10 in 63.5 overs with half centuries registered from Ayush Mhatre (72 runs) and Tejas More (62 runs). Middle order batsman Sanskar Pranashkar remained unbeaten on 49* missing out on a well deserved half century. From the bowlers, it was Sai Sanil who impressed one and all with his impactful bowling performance. Sai turned out to be the pick of the lot returning with excellent bowling figures of 6/57 in 20 overs including 4 maidens. Sai single handedly cleaned the top to middle order providing vital breakthroughs to his team.

Trailing 244, Sunil Gavaskar XI in reply made 284/8 dec in 90 overs courtesy a solid hundred from no.4 batsman Rudra Sukale. Opener Aniket Singh scored 73 runs while it was Rudra who took his team to a strong position courtesy his 119* off 216 balls smashing 14 fours and 2 sixes displaying good composure and patience. Aryan Mandavkar with 5/46 was the pick of the lot from Sachin Tendulkar XI. Sachin Tendulkar XI in the 2nd innings batted for 31 overs for the loss of 4wickets before the end of the game’s play where Sunil Gavaskar XI won the match on 1st innings lead.

Shivaji Park Gymkhana after being put to bat first batted well to post a total of 238/8 in 70 overs. SPG had 3 batters smashing half centuries namely Sanket Bhaye, Ninad Kadam and Vidydadhar Kamath coming up with crucial knocks. Sanket top scored with 72 runs followed by Ninad’s 68 and Vidyadhar’s 54 runs.
Bombay Gymkhana in reply got to bat for 48 overs where in they managed a score of 175/7 with Sumeir Zaveri scoring 75 runs. From SPG, Satyam Chaudhary with 3/29 and Akash Mishra with 3/36 were the pick of the lot as ShivajI Park Gymkhana were declared winners on the basis of Net Run Rate (on better quotient).


Khan who came at no.4 to score 66 runs. However, the game changed when all-rounder Aayush Zimare came at no.6 playing a marathon innings of 141 runs. Aayush faced 271 balls displaying patience and composure while he smashed 17 fours en-route his impressive century. All-rounder Suryansh Shedge who came at no.8 also played a handy knock of 62 runs off 107 balls as Mumbai team reached a commanding position to defend their total.
Baroda in reply were all out for 257 runs in 99 overs courtesy a good bowling performance from the Mumbai bowlers. Musheer Khan from Mumbai was the pick of the bowlers taking 4/85 in 33 overs including 11 maidens. Receiving a follow on, Baroda managed to score 346/10 in 121 overs giving a target of 180 to Mumbai team. Strike bowler Himanshu Singh was the pick of the lot for Mumbai in the 2nd innings returning with impactful bowling performance of 6/106 in 35 overs including 9 maidens.
The match ended with Mumbai winning the match on 1st innings lead.

H.R. College winning the toss elected to bat first, Jai Hind started off very well sending back half of Hr’s batting line up for 47, thereafter H.R. skipper Raahib Fatehi carried the inning and at one stage it looked like H.R. would cross 130, but the Jai Hind College captain Kush Attawala and medium pacer Vedaant Mashruwala took charge at the death restricting H.R. to 110. For Jai Hind Dev Jhaveri was the pick off the bowlers getting 3-19(4) followed by Kush Attawala 2-15(4) and Vedaant 2-20(3). Hr’s only notable score was Raahib’s 35(43).
Chasing 111 off 20 overs would’ve seemed an easy task with Jai Hinds top 3 in solid form but Hr College’s Medhansh Shah’s spell 2-10(4) had Jai Hind reeling at 24-3 after 7 overs. Jai Hind may have lost hopes but No. 5 & 6 batsmen Jash Modi 24(32)* and Bhavya Shah 32(24)* had other plans, they pulled off a 57 runs partnership under pressure in a crucial final taking Jai Hind over the line with an over to spare.
Speed Sports Club after being put to bat first at Azad Maidan in Mumbai were reduced to a very low total of 82 runs all out in 33.1 overs. Only three batters managed to score in double digits as SM Sports Academy bowlers displayed a tight bowling performance with Soham, Nikhil, Adwait and Akshay coming up with 2 wickets each.
Chasing 83 seemed like a mere formality for SM Sports Academy as they won the match by 9 wickets crossing the victory line in 20.1 overs. Opener Devansh Rai guided the chase with a solid 49* off 61 balls smashing 5 fours to ensure a smooth win for his team. Devansh missed out on a well deserved half century but bagged ‘man of the match” award for his unbeaten 49*

Daiwat batted till the very end smashing 8 fours and a six taking his team towards a very defendable total. Apart from Daiwat, Simranjit Singh scored a quick 40 off 22 balls.
Mumbai Mavericks in reply could only manage 130/4 courtesy a disciplined and economical bowling performance from Yes Club bowlers. Yes Club won the match by 67 runs while Daiwat Rane was declared ‘man of the match’ for his brilliant half century.
