A fine century from Mohit Dogra (111 runs) and half century by Vatsal Sharma (50) helped Air Liner beat RCA Academy by  155 runs in the 3rd Wings Compute Institute Under 19 Cricket Tournament.

Batting first, Air Liner put up a good total of 220/3 in 35 overs. Mohit Dogra hit a scintillating century while Vatsal Sharma score a fifty. Neeraj Sehrawat captured a couple of wickets for RCA Academy.

In reply, RCA Academy were shot out for mere 65 runs in 20.3 over to lose the match by a huge margin of 155 runs. Mohit Kumar top scored with 28 runs. Harshit Chauhan snapped 3 while Umesh Kumar grabbed 2 wickets.

Riding on Arun Chaprana’s 5 wicket haul, Collage Sports defeated Titiksha Club by 42 runs and confirmed their finale berth in DDCA Hot Weather Cricket Tournament.

Batting first, Collage Sports scored 161 runs in 39 overs. Rahul Dagar top scored with 42.

In reply, Titiksha could not with-stand the deadly bowling combo of Arun and Ankit Chaudhary and were all out for just 119 runs in 32 overs. Arun picked up 5/13 and Ankit picked up 2/21.

Riding on Mohit Mathew’s superb bowling show that included a hat-trick, DCE defeated Brother’s XI by 49 runs in their DCL Championship T20 Cricket Tournament encounter.

Batting first, DCE scored 135/8 in their allotted 20 overs. Sahil Nagia top scored with 30 while Karan Narang contributed with 28 runs. Alok Kumar grabbed 2 while Uttam Das picked up a solitary wicket for Brother’s XI.

In reply, Brother’s XI succumbed to the pressure created by DCE bowlers Mohit Mathew (4 wickets)and Rahul Meena (3 wickets)and were shot out for just 86 runs and lost the match. The highlight of the match was Mohit Mathew’s hat-trick that prevented Brother’s XI from coming back into the match.

ONGC defeated CWC by 6 wickets to enter the QF of DDCA Hot Weather Cricket Tournament. Delhi Ranji player Mithun Manhas played a brilliant knock of 59 runs while Sumit Narwal captured 3 wickets.

Batting first, CWC scored 148 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 30 overs. Nakul Nain top scored with 47 runs. Sumit Narwal captured 3/18 while Sharandeep Singh picked 2/18.

In reply, ONGC easily overhauled the target in just 22 overs mainly due to Mithun Manhas‘ 59 and Prashant Bhandari’s 34. Sakib Alam captured 3/37 for CWC.

Chand Khanna Club defeated Air India by 7 wickets to enter the Q-F of DDCA Hot weather Tournament. Haryana Ranji Player Kuldeep Hooda was the star of the show as he hit a sparkling knock of 85 runs to guide his team to victory.

Batting first, Air India were reduced to just 160 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 40 overs. IPL star Manvinder Bisla top scored with 52 while Aditya Kaushik contributed with 48. Wasim Ahmed captured 4 while Sagar Malik captured 3 wickets.

In reply, Chand Khanna Club chased down the total in just the 29th over thanks to Hooda’s 85. Ankur Kaushik remained unbeaten on 27 runs.

PNB were reduced to just 92 runs in 22 overs thanks to a four wicket haul from Ravinder Singh and a couple of wickets by Ankit Chaudhary . Saurabh Passi top scored with 31 runs.

In reply, Collage Sports chased down the required target in 21 overs with 6 wickets to spare. Parmod Chandela scored 29 while all four wickets went to Sachin Singh whose figures read 4/46.

Umag Sharma’s all-round show (60*, 3/24) enabled FCI to register an easy 5 wicket win over Rajnigandha Club and enter the last four stage of DDCA Hot Weather Cricket Tournament.

Rajnigandha could score only 179 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 40 overs. Manoj Chauhan top scored with 57, Vikas Choudhary 41. Umang Sharma and Sanjay Pandey captured 3 wicket a piece.

In reply, FCI overhauled the target in just 33 overs with 5 wickets to spare. Umang Sharma scored an unbeaten 60, Paras Dogra and Chetan Sharma contributed with 45 and 40 runs respectively.

Umang Sharma was chosen Man of the Match for his fine all round display.

Collage Group defeated Mata Ved Solanki by 5 wickets in DDCA Hot Weather Tournament. SP Gautam hit a fine unbeaten knock of 85 runs. Mata Ved Solanki’s Dinesh Mor hit an excellent century but it was in vain as his team lost the match and crashed out of the tournament.

Batting first, Mata Ved Solanki put up a good total of 223 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 40 overs. Wicketkeeper batsman and Delhi Under 19 player Dinesh Mor top scored with 110 runs (100 balls, 11×4, 1×6). Manish Tehlan was the second highest scorer with 36.  Collage Group’s Shivam Singh captured 2 wickets for his team.

In reply, Collage group chased down the target rather easily as SP Gautam scored 85* and Pramod Chandela contributed with 50 runs. They chased down the total in just 31 overs.
