The 33 year old wicketkeeper cum opening batsman from Dahisar sports club suffered from a heart attack shortly after playing a knock of 20 odd in their Kanga League division match on 23 August 2015.

Shortly after returning to the pavilion he complained about stomach pain and asked for water however upon noticing that he seemed unwell, his team mates rushed him to Bombay Hospital. He had to undergo angioplasty and was discharged from hospital on 27th August.

On a full time basis he works for MOL shipping company in Mumbai. This incident has resulted in the re-working of the on-ground medical facilities by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) and hopefully Mumbai should experience prompt medical responses towards such unfortunate incidents.

Cricketgraph.com wishes him a fast recovery and hope to see him back in action soon!
