DU Inter College

SGND Khalsa College kick started their DU Inter College Tournament 2015-16 campaign on a perfect note as they defeated College of Arts by 9 wickets on the first day of the knockouts. To say that they just defeated their opponents will be an understatement. It was an astounding victory over their opponents as they were out played in all the departments of the game.

The chief architects of the win were Khalsa bowler Hriday (4 wickets) and opening batsman Vansh (52 runs, 25 balls). The match was played at the beautiful ground of Sri Venkateswara College, South Campus, Delhi University.

College of Arts would rather forget this day as batting first, as 6 of their batsmen could not score. They were bundled out for mere 94 runs in 24.2 overs owing to a superb bowling show by Khalsa bowlers. Apart from Hriday, Yogesh and Chetan picked up couple of wickets each to break the back bone of College of Arts batting line up. Only opener Abhishek Pal managed to score 35 runs. Rest of the batting just fell apart.
