After winning the toss , Rahul Jangli skipper of Ruparel college decided to bat first . Rahul who opens the batting for Ruparel college batted sensibly and scored 45 runs however one batsman who stole the limelight was Vignesh Pashte who came in at 3 down position and scored 70(38) with 4 massive sixes and 6 fours. This brilliant innings gave a sudden impetus to the Ruparel score. They scored 130/4 in 15 overs.
SIWS college batting innings had all the ingredients of a Bollywood movie – 4 run outs! Great fielding by Hrishkesh Jadhav and Pranil Pawar picked up 2 wickets each with run outs.
Parth Sawant bowled 2 overs and picked up 2 wickets giving away only 8 runs.
SIWS college managed 92 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 15 overs.
Day belonged to the mighty Vignesh Pashte from Ruparel college and he surely is a batsman to watch out for in the DSO tournament.
Ram Lal Anand College (RLA) delivered a clinical performance with both bat and ball and successfully prevailed over Shivaji College by 5 wickets in their DU Inter College Knockout match. Almost everybody contributed in the win- be it bowlers who restricted the opposition to a below par score or the batsmen who chased down the target with not much difficulty.
Shivaji College batted first and were off to a nightmarish start with top three batsmen back by the score of 30. Then Anmol Vyas (32) and Aditya Sharma (60) steadied the ship with a 69 run partnership. Fortunately or unfortunately this proved to be the highest partnership in the innings as rest of the batting, especially the lower order did not carry the innings forward and crumbled under pressure. The whole team was sent packing for mere 149 runs in 38.3 overs.
Hitesh Mehra bowled brilliantly for his 3 wickets and so did Manoj Rawat and Himanshu Bansal for their two wickets each.
Chasing a modest total, RLA were off to a flying start with a 74 runs partnership between openers Vikrant Chhillar (44) and Hitesh Mehra (27). RLA lost 5 wickets enroute their chase but No.3 Paras Sehrawat remained unbeaten on 39 to see his team home. For Shivaji, Manoj Tehlan and Aditya Sharma captured 2 wickets each.

A superb century by Ishaan Chatterjee (118 runs, 128 b, 11×4, 1×6) and a good overall performance by the bowlers helped DCAC knock out Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (E) by 64 runs in their DU Inter College encounter.
Batting first, DCAC had a bad start to their innings as 3 of their top 4 batsmen were already back with just 54 on the board. But Ishaan Chatterjee and Garvit Chhabra (56) joined hands and took their team out of deep waters with a match changing 143 run partnership. There were minor hiccups later in the innings but a quick fire unbeaten 12 ball 28 cameo by Harsh Rathore ensured that DCAC ended the innings on a high with a total of 289 runs.
In reply, SBSC (E) had a decent start to the innings with first 2 wickets adding 77 runs. But they kept losing wickets at regular intervals after that and were also not able to keep up with the required run rate. No batsman was able to hold one end and that’s where SBSC lost the plot. Four batsmen got themselves out in 30s thus breaking the momentum.
Venkat Shivam was the pick of the bowlers for DCAC scalping 3 wickets and he was well supported by Tanuj and Allan both of whom captured a couple of wickets each.

It was a disappointing match for K.C college which batted first after losing the toss and scored only 60 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 15 overs.
Dipesh Lokhande bowled 2 overs picking up 2 wickets and gave away only 3 runs. Other bowlers Varun J and Amar picked up a wicket each.
According to Adarsh Sawant, KC college lost early wickets and they struggled to scores also because of the fact that the opponent skipper had spread the fielders. They never got into accelerating the scores post early loss of wickets.
Kirti college comfortably chased the target in 8 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Mayuresh Narvankar scored 28 runs off 24 balls . With this win Kirti college now moves up the ladder in DSO tournament and is likely to play next match in next week.

Riding on Chetan Anand‘s sparkling knock of 79 runs, 71 balls, 12×4, 2×6, KN Colts registered an easy victory over Quatta DAV by 7 wickets in their match in SI International League.
Batting first, Quatta DAV scored 192 runs for 8 wickets in 40 overs. Their innings were aided by contributions of Saurabh Singh Rautela, Shubhendra Pratap, Dhruv Das all of whom scored in 30s. All KN Colts bowlers bowled well and helped restricting the opponents to a modest total.
In reply, Chetan Anand held the innings together for Colts and when he got out he ensured the match was very much in the bag for his team. The other notable contributors were Shivam Khurana (33) and Nikhil Katyyan (27*).

Tejas Baroka, the bowler from Venkateswara College continued his good form and took is a notch higher as he picked up a five wicket haul and help his team register a crucial victory over Dyal Singh College in their knockout encounter of DU Inter College Cricket Tournament. Venky Opener Yash Sehrawat rubbed salt on the wounds of Dyal Singh College by scoring unbeaten 70 runs from just 47 balls and making the chase look all the more easy.
Batting first, Dyal Singh batsmen were having an off day as the whole team was skittled for just 114 runs. Sagar top scored with 35 followed by Abhimanyu’s 23. But rest of the batting just didn’t click. Venky bowler Tejas Baroka was right on the money, picking up 5/29 in his 10 over spell. Other bowlers also supported him as they controlled the innings of their opponents.
Chasing a rather easy target, Venky openers removed any misconceptions of a turn around by smashing 80 runs for the first wicket. Abhimanyu Budhiraja got out for 27 runs but his partner in crime, Yash Sherawat tormented the bowlers with an unbeaten 70 (47 b, 4×12, 2×6) and took his team over the line in the 15th over itself.
