The true mark of any great opening batsman is his consistency and Subbu fits this category aptly.
Batting against a formidable bowling attack of National CC which has produced pace bowlers like Zaheer Khan in the past is not an easy challenge. Rajesh Pawar, Rohan Raje were some of the big names in the bowling side but Subbu meant business and played the ball on its merit.
He batted aggressively and punished lapses in length from National CC bowlers. His innings was decorated by 10 fours and 4 sixes scoring 110 off only 117 balls.
This is his second consecutive century and slowly a becoming a name to be feared amongst other teams in Kanga A division.

Any average person would easily consider the 40 plus Haqiq Siddiqui as an average office goer but his looks are deceptive and he transforms into a pace bowler once gets onto the cricket field. He is known to hit 120 Kms consistently and bowls in swing and out swing at will.
In the E division kanga league encounter between New Hindu Cricket Club Vs Super Stars cricket club, Haqiq Siddiqui picked up 4 wickets with new ball. He along with leg spinner Durgesh ripped off the batting side of Super Star club for paltry 39 runs. New Hindu club won the match played on 11 October 2015. Till date they have won 2 matches, lost one and rest drawn , with their current standing being at 4th position
Toss was won by Super Star club and they decided to bowl first . New Hindu Sports club scored 180/8 declared . This was partly possible because of some excellent batting down the order by Ajinkya Balkate , who came to bat at 8th down and scored 52 runs off 40 balls. He hit 3 fours and 2 sixes during his cameo innings to give New Hindu cricket club a good score to defend. But the score seemed too big since the opposition was bowled out for 39 runs . A victory which will be cherished by New Hindu club forever.
