DAV National Tournament
Ruparel college a strong contender for the DSO trophy won the toss and elected to bat first however they managed only 79/8 in 15 overs. The left arm opener pacer from Khalsa college, Ninad Thakur picked up early wickets and ended with 3 overs – 7 runs – 3 wickets. Another left arm bowler, Yash Bhojne also bowled well and had figures of 3 over – 15 runs – 2 wickets.

Chasing such teaser totals in semis is always challenging and good sensible batting by Aditya Suryavanshi 21* ensured a berth in the DSO finals. Khalsa chased the target in 13 overs.
Now the final tie is scheduled between Khalsa and the inform Siddharth college.
Prithviraj opened the batting during their chase of 101 runs and he batted till the last ball of the 15th over to secure a victory on the final ball. Siddharth College required 12 runs of the last over and they scored this 12 odd runs without hitting a single boundary. It was the cheeky running between the wickets that saw the college through to the finals of DSO.
Prithviraj scored an unbeaten 48 runs and deservingly hit the winning runs on the last ball. He was well supported by Suyog (33) on the other end.
Kirti college won the toss and elected to bat first, putting a decent total of 101 in allotted 15 overs.
Saurav Ankush , the left arm spinner picked up 2 wickets for Siddharth college.
With this win, Siddarth colleg
e has reached the finals to be played against Khalsa college.

Fine all-round display by Vijay Bhardwaj 4/15 and 34 not out and fine knock by wicket keeper Arjun Gupta 45 no helped Players Academy beat Tilak Nagar Colts by 8 wickets in the 2nd Sardari Lal Makkar memorial cricket tournament for Ranjan Shorey Trophy.
