The true mark of any great opening batsman is his consistency and Subbu fits this category aptly.
Batting against a formidable bowling attack of National CC which has produced pace bowlers like Zaheer Khan in the past is not an easy challenge. Rajesh Pawar, Rohan Raje were some of the big names in the bowling side but Subbu meant business and played the ball on its merit.
He batted aggressively and punished lapses in length from National CC bowlers.His innings was decorated by 10 fours and 4 sixes scoring 110 off only 117 balls.
This is his second consecutive century and slowly a becoming a name to be feared amongst other teams in Kanga A division.
