Match : National cricket Club vs Payyade Cricket Club

Swapnil Pradhan player of National cricket club scores a vital ton for his team against Payade cricket club.

Staying at wicket for 279 mins and facing 216 deliveries is not an easy job to do, especially against a top team like Payyade but Swapnil made it look easy. He scored 124 runs in 216 balls hitting 17×4’s and 1×6 in his innings. Swapnil got good support from his partner Prathamesh Pawar who contributed 56 in their partnership of 120 runs. Swapnil got most of his runs in square leg area with nice looking sweep shots and flicks. National.c.c was delighted with the performance of Swapnil Pradhan who helped them put a good total of 265/3. In response Payade scored 78/1 by the end of the days play.

The match was drawn and both teams got 1 point each. Kanga matches are similar to test match cricket where each team can play 2 innings but the catch is instead of 5 days, teams only have one day. Therefore many matches end up in a draw. Most important aspect is to take a first innings lead by either bowling out the opposition or surpassing opponents score and look to get bonus points.
