On 1st Nov’2015, just before the start of match, no one thought that it will be a low scoring game between Islam Gymkhana & division top order Greater Mumbai Police Sports Club in Dr. H. D. Kanga League Tournament (B-Division). The match was played at Police Gymkhana Ground.
After winning the toss, Police team elected to Bowl first which was a perfect decision as the

pitch was little soggy. Yogesh Jagtap (left arm seamer) of Police Team took the advantage of pitch and seize 6 wkts conceding only 41 runs and restricted Islam to 105. Islam team recovered from a situation of 6/26 to 10/105 with the help of an inning of 22 year old Aziz (49 runs, 4×7, 2×6) who was supported by lower order batsmen.
The day really turned out to be a Seamer’s day! Like Yogesh

(Police team); 18 year old Danish Rainee (Left Arm Seamer) of Islam started the bowling (swing with Yorkers, Short Balls) and kept varying his length and speed. These varying balls, couldn’t be handled by Police Team’s batsmen and wickets kept falling at regular intervals for Police team. Danish took 7 wkts. just in 24 runs; out of which 4 wkts were clean bowled. Aziz shone with the ball and took 2 wkts. restricting Police Team to 91 and thus taking a crucial 10 runs first innings lead. In the 2nd innings, Aziz continued his batting form and made 33* (4×6, 6×1) in 17 balls. The young talent (Aziz and Danish) gave a satisfying win for the Islam team with their performances.
As of now, in the current Dr. H. D. Kanga League Tournament, this is the second time, Danish has taken 7 wkts. and he is also in the probable players list for Mumbai Under-19 team!
