Tournament : DGRS Challenge Cup 2 – 2015-16
Last 2 matches played in the DGRS Challenge cup saw one sided victories.
In the first match between Dindoshi Sports Club and Raheja, Raheja batting first could muster only 119 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Kunal scored a breezy 31 while Sameer Masurkar with his tight bowling took 2 wickets in 3 overs spell that turned the tide decisively in DSC s favor. Dindoshi easily achieved the target with many overs to spare. Sameer was declared Man of the Match.

In the second match, batting first Goregaon Boys Sports club scored 196 for 5 in their allotted 20 overs. This was achieved mainly due to a 117 runs partnership between Man of the Match Ulhas Manjrekar (67 in 45, 4X10, 1X6) and Mukund Sangli (67, 4 X 6, 5 X6). Their opponents SKN sports club could manage only 118 handing over a 78 run victory to GBSC.

Tournament : Payyade Selection tournament
First day of the Payyade tournament saw 2 batsmen and 2 bowlers stand out from the rest of the players in 2 different matches.
In the first match between Sunil Gavaskar XI and Sachin Tendulkar XI, opener Suved parker playing for Sunil Gavaskar XI, continued his good form scoring a patient 94 runs. On the other hand Sagar Sawant was wrecker in chief accounting for 4 wickets for 36 runs. Sunil Gavaskar XI were all out for 203 runs and Sachin XI has started their first innings.

In the second match between Rohit Sharma XI and Vengsarkar XI, opener Divyansh Saxena, carried his bat through scoring 78* runs. He got absolutely no support from the other end. His team Rohit XI was all out for 177 runs. For Vengaskar XI opening bowler Siddharth Sharma took 4 wickets conceding 68 runs.

Tournament : DSC Challenge Cup 2015-16
Match – 1 : DSC vs UBMC Result : DSC won by 50 runs
Dindoshi Sports Club (DSC) score a mammoth 212 in 20 overs, thanks to Alpesh Joshi‘s 26 ball 62 runs hitting 8 boundaries and 2 massive sixes. Shutanshu too batted well for DSC.
In reply UBMC could manage only 162 runs, handing an easy 50 runs victory to DSC. Nilesh Pawaskar took 3 wickets while Pradeep Shetty took 2 wickets.
Alpesh Joshi was adjudged MoM for a fine knock with the bat.

Match – 2: ICC vs CPCC Result : ICC won by 7 wickets
In the second match of the tournament, CPCC were all out for 130 runs in the 20th over. Hero of their innings was Sandeep Sharma scoring at more than 300 strike rate, 85 runs in 26 balls but he didnt get much support from the other end. Jayesh Waghmare took 3 wickets in just 2 overs.
In reply ICC easily overcame the target mainly because of a fine knock of 60 runs by their star batsman Satnam. Jayesh also contributed with bat scoring 25 off 16 balls.
Satnam was declared Man of the Match.
Sh. C.K Khanna (Vice President, DDCA & BCCI) has been appointed as the chairman of the umpires committee of BCCI in the BCCI AGM, held today at Mumbai.

25th Shaheed Bhagat Singh Tournament
Fine all round display by man of the match Abhinav Bali 5/35 and 52 runs and quick fire knock by Gaurav Tomar 90 not out helped Hari Singh Academy beat Vidya Jain Academy by 7 wickets and lift 25th Shaheed Bhagat Singh cricket tournament for Deewan Heera Lal Chopra Running Trophy at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium.Hari Singh Academy won the toss and elected to bat first.
Winner got One Lakh Rupees and runners up received 75,000 Rupees cash. Best batsman Gaurav Tomar ;best bowler Shivam Sharma ; man of the tournament Kuldeep Hooda got TVS Motor Cycle by Deepak Chaudiya.
Brief Scores:
Vidya Jain Academy: 201 all out in 38.5 Overs: Pradeep Malik 100, Deepak Khatri 24, Sparsh Jain 20, Abhinav Bali 5/35.
Hari Singh Academy: 203 for 3 in 29 overs: Gaurav Tomar 90 not out, Abhinav Bali 52, Manav Goyal 35, Vikas Mishra 1/24.

Delhi University Trials
The trials for Delhi University Cricket Team have been concluded today at Sri Venkateswara College Ground. The committee has released a list of 30 probables who are divided into 2 squads of 15 players each. They will play against each other in trial match(es), to be conducted on Monday, 16th November at the same venue. (This is the latest update unless any change in the schedule happens)

D.Y. Patil Sports Academy are once again the champions of the prestigious Kanga League ‘A’ division. With the likes of Pravin Tambe, Iqbal Abdulla and Subbu they are a force to reckon with and a team to beat.
D.Y. Patil SA continued their good run even in their last league game against Sainath S C. Having put in to bat, D.Y. Patil declared their innings for a respectable 266 for the loss of four wickets in just 42 overs. Batsman, Vinit Indulkar saved his best for the last match and scored an excellent unbeaten century. Shanshank Singh scored a quick 77. Saieed Shaikh of Sainath grabbed 2 wickets.
In reply Sainath SC could manage 175 for the loss of 3 wickets when the play was stopped after 42 overs. Dushant Kadam scored an unbeaten 52 while Gupta scored patient 46. Pravin Tambe took 2 for 49 for DY Patil.
