Sh. C.K Khanna (Vice President, DDCA & BCCI) has been appointed as the chairman of the umpires committee of BCCI in the BCCI AGM, held today at Mumbai.

Fine all round display by man of the match Abhinav Bali 5/35 and 52 runs and quick fire knock by Gaurav Tomar 90 not out helped Hari Singh Academy beat Vidya Jain Academy by 7 wickets and lift 25th Shaheed Bhagat Singh cricket tournament for Deewan Heera Lal Chopra Running Trophy at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium.Hari Singh Academy won the toss and elected to bat first.
Winner got One Lakh Rupees and runners up received 75,000 Rupees cash. Best batsman Gaurav Tomar ;best bowler Shivam Sharma ; man of the tournament Kuldeep Hooda got TVS Motor Cycle by Deepak Chaudiya.

Delhi University Trials
The trials for Delhi University Cricket Team have been concluded today at Sri Venkateswara College Ground. The committee has released a list of 30 probables who are divided into 2 squads of 15 players each. They will play against each other in trial match(es), to be conducted on Monday, 16th November at the same venue. (This is the latest update unless any change in the schedule happens)

D.Y. Patil Sports Academy are once again the champions of the prestigious Kanga League ‘A’ division. With the likes of Pravin Tambe, Iqbal Abdulla and Subbu they are a force to reckon with and a team to beat.
D.Y. Patil SA continued their good run even in their last league game against Sainath S C. Having put in to bat, D.Y. Patil declared their innings for a respectable 266 for the loss of four wickets in just 42 overs. Batsman, Vinit Indulkar saved his best for the last match and scored an excellent unbeaten century. Shanshank Singh scored a quick 77. Saieed Shaikh of Sainath grabbed 2 wickets.
In reply Sainath SC could manage 175 for the loss of 3 wickets when the play was stopped after 42 overs. Dushant Kadam scored an unbeaten 52 while Gupta scored patient 46. Pravin Tambe took 2 for 49 for DY Patil.

Earlier known Shatkar Trophy is now renamed as M.C.A. Payyade Trophy Under-16 and is launched by Dilip Vengsarkar , Rohit Sharma & Dr. P.V. Shetty (Jt. Hon. Secretary M.C.A.) on 8th November at Wankhede Stadium.
Participating teams are Sunil Gavaskar XI, Dilip Vengsarkar XI, Sachin Tendulkar XI, Rohit Sharma XI. Total 68 Under-16 players have been selected by M.C.A. selectors and are divided in 4 teams i.e. 17 players each team who will be guided by respective team coaches.
Round Matches will be played from 9th to 26th November’15 in 3 day test format at SRT Gymkhana I & II – Kandivali. Top 4 talented cricketers will be selected from tournament and these players will get the sponsorship from Payyade Sports Club for complete education & cricket.

During his speech; Dilip Vengsarkar mentioned that Payyade Sports Club has done a great job by sponsoring the tournament and producing talented cricketers for Mumbai & India . Rohit Sharma also mentioned the importance of this tournament as he too started his cricketing carrier for Mumbai from this tournament. Both of them wished a good success for tournament & players.

Riding on a superb knock of 95 runs in just 47 balls by Vikas and a 23 ball half century by Prince Nagar, Gurv Cricket Academy defeated Uttranchal Boys Cricket Academy by 8 wickets in the 1st Khajano Devi memorial cricket tournament under -17 (2015-2016).
Uttaranchal Boys cricket academy won the toss and elect to Bat.

Fine allround display by Paritosh Kanojia 41 and 2/23 and good bowling by Anubhav Bangari 3/23 helped Frank Anthony Public School beat SS Khalsa School Lajpat Nagar by 58 runs and enter quarter final of the 19th Harbans Singh Sistaani memorial cricket tournament at SS Khalsa School. Tournament was inaugurated by SS Sistani – Chairman of the school. Preet Mahender – Principal of the school was also present.

Tournament : Milan corporate T20 Venue : National pitch, Cross Maidan, Mumbai
Match : Airtel Vs Crossfuse XI
Crossfuse opted to bat first against Airtel in the Milan corporate T 20 cup. None of the batsmen from Crossfuse except Rahul post more than 20 run. Crossfuse innings was dominated by Airtel bowlers. Jitesh P., Prakash and Sharad took 2 wicket each. Crossfuse innings folded for an ordinary 132 runs.
In response, having shone with the ball, Airtels opener Jitesh P.’s high octane innings of 94 off just 64 balls decimated Crossfuse bowling and target was achieved in just 14 overs.
Jitesh P. was adjudged man of the match for his 2 wickets and a blazing knock with the bat.

Match : Reliance Money Vs. Global Connect
A script straight out of a thrilling bollywood movie is how the match between Reliance money and Global connect should be described. With many twists and turns all along the way it was Reliance who came on top against Global connect, a match that saw nearly 400 runs scored in 40 overs.
Having won the toss Reliance chose to bat first on a beautiful batting strip. MoM Amrut

Shetye and Ravi Wishwakarma batted beautifully to set up a target of 202 for the opposition. Amrut missed his century by a run (scored 99 off 53 balls) and Ravi scored a breathtaking half century.
In response Global connect batsmen Vineet Kotian and Bharat Rathod put up a good fight. All other batsmen put up small scores but it were the extras column that hurt reliance the most. Reliance gave away a staggering 38 extras, second highest of Global connects scorecard. Global connect requiring 40 runs off last 20 deliveries with 2 wickets in hand felt short by mere 3 runs handing a tantalizing victory to Reliance.

Having won the final in Mumbai, Rizvi went on to put one more feather in their already crowded cap by winning against Devgiri College of Aurangabad on their home turf in Ahmednagar.

Captain Hashir played a captains knock scoring quick fire 35 and also picking up 2 wickets. He was very well supported by Rizvi’s other all rounders Yashraj Joshi scoring blistering 25 in 11 balls and also picking up 2 wickets and Ashutosh Singh (33 runs and 2 wickets).
Batting first Rizvi scored 167 in 18 overs (Ashutosh Singh 33, Hashir Dafedar 35, Yashraj 25*) (Akshay Kharat and Kunal Pawar took 2 wickets each.)
Batting second Devgiri college could manage only 125. Venkatesh Darade put up a solid fight with 54 runs off 43 balls along with Juned Sayyad but felt short by quite a few runs. For Rizvi, Satyak Patel, Yashraj Joshi, Hashir Dafedar and Ashutosh Singh all took 2 wickets each.
