The tournament (Corporate Cricket Bash) that has become talk of the town in just the second season, witnessed an innings that has become talk of the town.
Ankit Shashtri, playing for Arbuda Agro Chemicals scored an unbelievable 171 runs in their match against M. Moser Associates. Opening the batting Ankit scored on all parts of the ground, hitting 20 boundaries and 8 massive sixes. He took just 76 balls scoring at a strike rate of 225. Ankit was so dominant in his innings that his opening partner Digambar Pardale’s innings of 51 off 38 balls was completely overshadowed. Unluckily Anikt got run out in the 18th over. Who knows if he would have stayed till the end, he would have scored a double century; in a T20. Take that for some batting.
Arbuda Agro posted a massive 268 for the loss of 2 wickets. In reply Moser Associated could only muster mere 34 runs all out, handing over a monsterous 234 runs victory to Arbuda.

Match : Bankbazaar vs Radio city
Bankbazaar chose to field first against Radio City. Radio City openers gave a decent start to their innings but it was one down, Jatin Sharma who propelled Radio city to a very good score. Jatin scored breezy 66 off just 28 balls. Radio city ended up scoring 183 runs. Gunjan Kapoor of Bankbaazar grabbed 4 wickets for 28 runs.
Bankbazaar were off to a disastrous start loosing 3 wickets for just 11 runs in 3 overs. Then came Bank bazaar captain Mayank Chauhan to bat. Mayank batted in a different league. While his team kept loosing wicket, he kept scoring at a brisk pace. Mayank remained unbeaten on a fluent 101. Mayank scored at rapid pace too. He took just 51 balls for his century, hitting 14 fours and 4 sixes. Radiocity had no answers to Mayan’s heroics. They tried as many as 9 bowlers but couldn’t get through Mayank’s defenses. Mayank got very good support from lower order batsman, Rinkal Gala. In the end Bankbazaar won with 11 balls and 3 wickets to spare.
The day truely belonged to the captain of Bankbazaar Mayank Chauhan!!!
