It was their lower order bat Darshan Rave who compiled a breezy 44 off 21 balls helping his team post a target of 173 runs. For YMCA, Ajay took 3 wickets while Niyaz took 2.

In reply, Bombay YMCA lost the top 4 wickets for just 20 runs ending all their hopes of a successful chase. Jay Sachdev was the chief destroyer claiming top 3 wickets. The innings was finished off by Man of the Match Anthony Nadar picking up 4 wickets for just 23 runs.

It was Nikhils day but failed to turn it into J.P. Tech’s day….

J.P. Tech chose to field first against Edelweiss in the Dreamz T20 Corporate trophy. Opening the bowling for J.P. , Nikhil took 2 wickets in his 4 overs. But Salil, Vipul and Sudeep helped Edelweiss reach a respectable total of 170 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.

Opening the batting for J.P., Nikhil hun in there in grand manner till the last over. He and other batsmen, Santosh and Sachin of J.P. Tech had the match in complete control. J.P. had a opening stand of 113 runs. But it was the last over bowled by Chetan which accounted for the wicket of Nikhil, denying him century by a run and also denying the J.P. Team a win…. A match to be remembered for a long time to come for both the teams.

Nikhil was declared Man of the Match for his excellent efforts even though it failed to convert into a win. Nevertheless well played J.P. Tech and Edelweiss!!!
