It was a match where two strong teams clashed against each other namely SKCC & Jhanjar XI at the Rajokri Cricket Ground at Delhi on 22nd july 2017. SKCC won the toss & elected to bat first after winning the toss as the pitch was looking good to bat on.
Jhanjhar XI who were made to bat first showed the opposition that it hardly mattered to them batting first as they posted a very competitive total of 199/6 in 20 overs. Rishi Pal (40) & Gaurav Gaud ( 20) played well stabilizing the innings but the star entertainer of the match was Aman Sehrawat who scored an unbeaten 62*. What’s more his 62 came off just 19balls coming at a strike rate of more than 300 & smashing 4’s and 6’s with will in every corner of the ground.
In reply, SKCA fought hard and really gave a tough fight but they were all-out for 187/10 in 19.3overs falling short of just 12 runs. Lakshya Thareja scored a solid 40ball 65 and so did Rohit Kumar who chipped in with 36 but the rest of the batsman struggled to make a substantial score. Gaurav & Ajay Gulia took 2wkts each but it was Aman who was pick of the bowlers with 2/9 in his 2 overs.
Jhanjhar XI won the match by 12 runs & Aman Sehrawat was declared ‘man of the match’ for his all-round perfomance. Cricketgraph congratulates Aman & the whole team for their win and also wishes them luck for their future encounters.

It was a match between two promising teams namely Ibadat Education & DCL Champs on 19th July 2017 at Delhi. Ibadat Education who won the toss elected to bat first with an aim of making a big total on the board.
Batting first proved to be a right decision as Ibadat Education managed to score a competitive total of 274/10 in 40 overs. Left-handed opener Saurav Nautiyal smashed a brilliant century scoring 109 off just 70balls which set the tone for Ibadat’s innings. The talented batsman smashed 7fours and as many as 6big sixes to counter attack the opposition and help his team post a very decent target of 274. The rest of the batsman also chipped in with 20’s & 30’s further boosting the score. Milan & Prateek were the pick of the bowlers taking 3/18 & 3/36 respectively.
Chasing 275 at almost 7runs per over is always difficult and DCL Champs though gave a tough fight but managed to score only 244/10 in 33.4 overs. The batting was really good and had they played till the end they could have won the game easily but they lost quick wickets in between helping Ibadat Education win by 30runs while Sourav was declared ‘man of the match’ for his brilliant hundred. Cricketgraph congratulates sourav and the whole team for their win & also wishes them luck for their future encounters.

Into the 4th match of the DCL T20 league, it was between 2 promising opponents namely the Sultan Sports Club & Ibadat Education at Delhi. Sultan Sports who won the toss elected to bat first to make a good total on the board.
Batting first, Sultan Sports made 137/8 in 20 overs which was fairly a decent score if not a big total considering the rainy season and the odd pitch conditions. Arpit was the highest scorer with a solid 37 while the rest of the batsman chipped in with 10’s and 20’s but could not convert their score into something substantial. The bowling was good with Sourav taking 3wickets while the rest of the bowlers chipping in with a wicket each.
Chasing 138 in a T20 game is most of the times achievable but Ibadat Education felt the pressure of chasing against a good bowling attack as they were all out for just 85/10 in 19.2overs. The chief destroyer with the ball was this right arm fast bowler Raju Khan who ran through the opposition’s batting line with his steaming pace taking 4/12 in his 4 overs.
Sultan Sports won the match by 52runs and Raju Khan’s promising display of pace bowling made him earn ‘man of the match’ Cricketgraph congratulates Raju & wishes him luck for a great cricketing year ahead.

A game changing batsman (right-handed) and a more than handy right-arm off spinner, Mandar Garude has been playing local cricket in Mumbai for quite a few years now. Representing team WNS at the corporate level, he has given numerous performances both with the bat as well as with the ball to help his side win on numerous occasions.
But this time it was altogether a different level where his team WNS was picked by SAG India to participate in an International event like “Malaysia Super Sixes Tournament” where big professional players from different parts of the world participate including some notable names like Ajanta Mendis, Gunakeratne, Dushan Silva amongst others.
It was first time for Mandar to perform on such a big stage and he exceedingly did a great job in the tournament bagging 3 ‘man of the match’ awards in 5matches he played. Scoring well over 120 runs in 5matches (5over matches) at an average of almost 100 and scoring at a strike rate of more than 220 while remaining unbeaten 4times. What’s more he also took 6wkts with his spin. Mandar confidently played against the likes of big opponents and showed a great character at such a big stage. In fact his perfomance impressed one and all! Cricketgraph congratulates Mandar for his successful international outing and wishes him all the luck for a great cricketing year ahead.

In an exclusive interview with Cricketgraph Mandar said “It’s definitely a great experience when it comes to going international and playing in those conditions. I personally had a great time, as was able to score runs and take wickets for my team. My captain Kiran Desai backed me up and let me play my natural game. It’s difficult to absorb changes when u regularly play 20 overs or 45 overs game and suddenly going for 5 overs game, as it’s huge difference in these format. When it comes to 5 overs you need to start hitting ball right from the first ball. When I got into the crease I decided that I will play my tennis cricket game by going hard on bowlers and by attacking them, so that they can try something different and make mistake and it really worked. I got most of the runs from my reverse short. I would like to give credit to my captain Kiran Desai as well, as during entire tournament he utilised me really very well. In some matches he asked me to open the innings and in some matches I batted at no 3 or 4 and same with bowling. I was ready to play at any position as I was sure that I m going to hit the ball out of park. Overall I am happy with my and teams performance. Hope to continue this form in upcoming Kanga League Tournament.”

Hold your breath for what is about to come….at first this may also be hard to believe but yes what we are stating is 100% true. India’s U/19 player Mayank Rawat today broke the norms of normality and indulged in a stunning knock which may take really some time for the normal people to digest!
Yes Mayank Rawat smashed a triple century…while that is alone worth accolades but that is not the reason he is in news for. Mayank Rawat scored a tripe hundred in a 40-over game and that too in mere 86balls. Freak, wild, aggression, brutal, immensely talented are some of the hashtags you can attach with this boy who has simply broke all the records in cricket on 21.07.2017 representing Ajmal Khan Cricket Academy and facing SKCC in the Gaikwad U/19 Trophy.
We at Cricketgraph spoke with Mayank and asked him in what zone was he that this happened & these were his excerpts- “I usually bat like this only and this is also my natural game..felt really amazing to score runs like this..plus the wicket was extremely good to bat on and luckily I was able to hit the ball nicely today. I was recently dropped from the U/19 National team but certainly working hard to make a comeback” and we also certainly believe he will be donning the national cap soon.
Played today at the Rajokri Cricket Ground, it was AKCC (Ajmal Khan Academy) who won the toss & elected to bat first. Well the SKCC boys were completely unaware of what was about to come as AKCC piled up a record 586/4 in 35overs. Yes 586 runs in just 210balls and thanks to this right-handed Mayank Rawat who scored 309 at a strike rate of more than 320 and smashing a record number of 37 mammoth sixes and just 16boundaries to completely destroy the opposition. Mayank was dealing in boundaries so easily that at one point it looked like as if he was just doing some batting practice. Also we must not forget another right handed batsman Ritik kanojia who also smashed one of the fastest local hundreds of Delhi. Ritik smashed 100 off mere 28balls wherein he smashed 12sixes and 6fours. Both the players certainly gave nightmares to the bowlers which will take really a lot of time for them to forget the carnage.
In reply, SKCC were all out for 198/10 in 26overs where in Sunny and Rishi were the highest scorers with 51 & 48 respectively while Sanchit, Mohit & Siddarth took 3wkts each. AKCC won the match by a record 388 runs & for obvious reasons Mayank Rawat was declared ‘man of the match’.
Some Records broken today-
- Highest Individual score in India as well as around the world in a limited overs game.
- Highest number of sixes in a single innings in any format or level of the game(37sixes)
- Highest strike rate achieved in individual score of more than 200 in the world.
- Ritik Kanojia’s 28ball hundred was also amongst the fastest hundreds.
- Highest team total in a 40 over game in india in any format-(586 in 40overs)

Cricketgraph was the 1st to report the success story of WNS team selected to play in an International tournament like “Malaysia Super Sixes” and now another good news is WNS Mumbai who participated for the 1st time in an International Tournament finished at a overall 3rd place & also won Group A Winners Trophy which is definitely quite appreciation worthy considering that it was a local team of Mumbai participating against big teams in such a big tournament where players like Ajanta Mendis, Dushan Silva,Gunakeratne and a host of other international players from big leagues were their opponents. A success story which should definately make the people of Mumbai as well as India proud.
WNS team really did an amazing job in their first international outing & it was also good to see all players showing a great character by playing extra ordinary cricket. Players like Mandar Garude, Rahul Kirodian and Aditya Nikam were the stars in WNS success. Also credit must be given to the Captain Kiran Desai as well, as he really did an awesome job in leading the team & keeping the boys motivated. Captain Kiran used his bowlers and batsman as per their strengths & that’s what created a synergy in the team. SAG India who sponsored the team is also very happy with the team’s performance and promised WNS to take to Malaysia every year.
Also credit must go to SAG India who gave this wonderful opportunity to the players and took the responsibility of sponsoring them. They showed generosity & it was their whole-hearted involvement emotionally, physically and financially which also played a big role in WNS’s success in their very 1st outing.
It was also great to see Malaysian cricket club offering some of the WNS players to play for their Malaysian team while the WNS players expressed their desire to play for WNS only proving their love and loyalty towards the game.

It was a tough match between two promising teams namely Hindustan Tiles & Centurion. It was the all-important semi-finals of the tournament where Hindustan Tiles won the toss & elected to bat first with an aim of putting a big score on the board.
Batting first, the centurion bowlers really did a commendable job with the ball restricting HT to just 119/8 in 20 overs which is surely not the best of the scores to defend in a semi final of a T20 match. Right arm spinner Aakash Singhal bowled a very effective spell of 4/14 in 4 overs taking important wickets at the right time. From HT, Mayank was the highest scorer with a 26ball 23 followed by some quick 20(16) & 22(14) by Tarun & Pawan.

Chasing 120 is not a big deal in a T20 match but HT bowlers just did a stunning job with the ball & gave an excellent tough fight restricting the opposition to just 114/8 in 20 overs. Naveen Chand smashed a solid run-a-ball 37 but the rest of the batsman could not fire when it was needed. Vinay was the pick of the bowler taking 3/15 while all-rounder Pawan also took 3wkts while giving away runs at less than 6runs per over.
Hindustan Tiles won the semi-finals and enter the finals while Pawan was declared ‘man of the match’. Aakash’s perfomance was also worth mentioning. Cricketgraph congratulates HT boys and wishes them luck for an exciting finals soon.

We all know that Mumbai has some of the best ground facilities and turfs to practice even during monsoons but because of Indoor Grounds like Nannaware Sports Foundation, Pune doesn’t like lag behind either when it comes to the best indoor grounds to practice during monsoons.
If you are staying in Pune & looking for a good indoor ground, this is the place where you can really get in touch with your favorite sport. Most of the professional level cricketers are made to take a break from their daily cricketing routine because of the lack of places to play or practice during monsoon. It indirectly results and affects their form, fitness and technique because they stop playing cricket for almost 3 to 4 months. Also for professional cricketers, it is important to consistently practice and stay in touch with the game as a long break can rust the technique a bit. Also most of the players start playing & participate in some or the other cricket tournaments once the monsoon is over. So one needs to be mentally & physically ready for that!
Nannaware indoor ground has proper net facilities and a monsoon fitness camp is also going on where players can participate under the professional guidance of coaches. This indoor ground is located in Pune at C/O SM Joshi High school near Hutching School. We certainly believe monsoon should not come in between a cricket lover and professional players. Hence put on your kit bag, get ready & start practicing at the Nannaware Sports Foundation!
