Two strong teams namely GSR and RDX clashed with each other where in RDX won the toss & elected to bat first as the Skyline Cricket Ground is always good to bat on to post a big total and put the opposition under pressure.
Their decision to bat first was spot on as RDX made a big total of 206/5 in 20 overs wherein opener Anuj Rasganiya gave a good start of 39(22b) to develop the positive momentum. Right-handed Bharat Bhushan came in at no.4 and carried on the positive momentum left behind by the openers as he went on to score a solid looking 65 off mere 29balls at a SR of 224 which included 6fours and 5 sixes. While Bharat was counter attacking every bowler, he also got able support from Pawan Ahlawat who scored a handy 34 off 32balls which eventually pushed their team total to a very competitive one.
In reply, GSR felt the pressure of chasing a 200+ score as they managed to score only 144/9 in 20 overs where in Preet and Satish were the highest scorers with a 24ball 30 each. Sourav Kataria with 3/15 was the pick of the bowlers while Ravi Shokeen and Gaurav Dhankar took 2wkts each. Team RDX won the match by 62runs and middle order batsman Bharat Bhushan was declared ‘man of the match’ .

Played at the Skyline Cricket Ground at Gurgaon in Haryana, Reefit Gym Warriors and Veterans Cricket Club clashed against each other where in RGW won the toss & elected to field first in order to restrict the opposition to a low total.
Batting first, Veterans Cricket Club were all out for just 81/10 in 20 overs and it was the right decision taken by RGW to bowl first. At one point, VCC were 3down under 5runs as the top 3 batsman made 2runs collectively. However, Ashish and Mayank at the middle order chipped in with 23(24b) and 28(36) to atleast take their team to 81. Chasing 82 was a mere formality as RGW chased down the score with the loss of just 1wicket in 11.3 overs. Brave hearts and SSCC clashed for a crucial encounter at the Cricket Adda Sports Ground at Gurgaon in Haryana wherein Brave hearts won the toss and elected to field first with an aim of restricting the opposition to a low total.
Batting first, Bravehearts posted a nice total of 151/7 in 20 overs which is always good enough to defend. Even though the openers Dgivijay and Ajay Bhandari failed to give a good start, it was Sanjay Sharma at no.5 who scored a valiant 43 off just 33balls which included 3fours and 2sixes. Umesh Sharma at no.4 also chipped in with a run a ball 24 which came in quite handy. From Brave Hearts, Tarun was the pick of the bowlers taking 3/17 in 4 overs.
In reply, Bravehearts were all out for 115 in just 17.3 overs despite a promising start by Ashish & Madhav who scored 29(38b) & 38(24b) respectively. Sahil Querishi bowled a match winning spell of 3/12 in 4 overs while Gaurav Vig and Usman took 2wkts each. SSCC won the match by 36runs and Sahil Quereshi was declared ‘man of the match’. On a good batting track, game swingers won the toss & elected to bat first in order to put a big total on the board. Game Swingers decision to bat first wasn’t spot on as they were all out for a paltry 80 in just 12.5 overs where in opener Risabh (22 off 16b) was the only one who crossed the 20 runs mark. The bowling was really tight from the opposition & especially Anubhav and Ajay who took 4wkts each to trouble the batsman. While Anubhav was the pick of the bowlers taking 4/13 in 3.5 overs which also included 1 maiden, Ajay also came up with impressive bowling figures of 4/18 in his 3overs.
In reply, Game Swingers did gave a tough fight and did not allow Cricket Maniacs to win before removing their 6wkts. Cricket Maniacs won the match by 4wkts in 14.4 overs wherein Faiz & Anubhav remained unbeaten on 28* & 14* respectively. Cricket Maniacs tasted victory and it was Anubhav who was declared ‘man of the match’ .

Opener Manoj bedi gave a scintillating start scoring 41 off just 22balls (4 fours, 3sixes) at a strike rate of 181. The good momentum was continued by Hitesh who scored 83* off 54balls (11 fours, 2sixes at a striker rate of 153) at no.4 to take his team cross the 200 run mark. Chasing 214 is usually a one side game but Centurion boys did not gave up as they went on to give a tough fight despite their top order failing to make any impact. Ajay at no.6 scored a 22ball 33 but it was Monu at no.8 who scored a fighting 74* off just 36balls which included 7fours and 5 sixes. Monu almost took his team to a stunning win falling short of just 6 runs as they managed to reach 207/7 in 20 overs. Manoj Bedi also took 3/28 in 4 overs which made him earn ‘man of the match’. Played on 19th August 2017, it was a clash between two talented teams namely Titans and Kings XI where in Titans won the toss and elected to bat first as the wicket at the Skyline Cricket Ground is always good to bat on.
Batting first, even though it was a shaky start with a few quick wickets at the top but it was Ashish Anjna at no.4 who top scored and also ressurected the innings. Ashish scored 75 off just 49balls at a SR of 149.1 which included 5fours and 6 sixes to take the game away from the opposition. It was his solid 75 which helped Titans post a respectable score of 166/9 in 20 overs. From the bowling side, Rakesh Rathee bowled really well scalping 4/19 in his 4 overs.
Chasing 167 at more than 8 r.p.o, Kings XI succumbed to the pressure of chasing as well as good bowling of the Titan bowlers. Everything was working in Ashish’s favor as he was also the leading bowler taking 3/19 in 4 overs followed by 3/33 by Vaibhav Yadav. Batting first, Street Ninjas made a decent score of 157/7 in 20 overs where in they could have easily scored 180+ considering the good start given by their openers Kushagr Sharma & Pramod Kumar. It was the all important semi-finals between two strong teams namely Reefit Gym Warriors & Lion Warriors at the Skyline Cricket ground at Gurgaon in Haryana. RGW won the toss & elected to bat first as the skyline wicket has always been decent to bat on.
Batting first, RGW were not able to create much of an impact which they were looking for as they managed to score only 135/8 in 20 overs. Even though their opener Hitesh gave a sparkling start with his 50ball 59, the rest of the batsman failed to convert their starts. Mukul Yadav bowled 6.1 overs and was pick of the bowlers with bowling figures of 3/39.
Chasing 136 for Lion Warriors was just a formality as their in-form opener Inder Yadav and aggressive batsman Deepak made a complete mayhem of the opposition with their barbaric batting. Both the openers remained unbeaten where in Deepak scored a 74* off mere 31balls which included 9fours and 6 sixes at a strike rate of 238 while in form Indersingh remained unbeaten on 59*(27balls) which included 7 fours & 4sixes at a strike rate of above 200. Lion Warriors qualify for the finals and win the match by 10wkts and 10.2 overs to spare and all-rounder Inder was declared ‘man of the match’ for his 59* and 1wkt.
