The recently concluded India’s tour of Sri Lanka will be remembered for a long time, thanks to Virat Kohli and his boys for their special effort in thrashing the hosts 9-0 (3 Tests, 5 ODIs, 1 T20). After witnessing the heroic performance of their role models, many young boys will be rearing to showcase similar kind of performance at school/club level. The ‘attiitude’ with with which Kohli and co. whitewashed the Lankans is something worth emulating. “It is not the aptitude but the ‘attiitude’ that determines your altitude”. The delieberate use of a different spelling for the word; attitude, is just to pull the attention of the readers towards brand.

Just started two years back, Attiitude is an international apparel brand, based out of London, United Kingdom with another office in Bengaluru, India. The brand is for all those who are not afraid to wear their rebellious streak on sleeve. Attiitude could have not found a better brand ambassador than Chris Gayle, who is one of the most destructive batsmen in international cricket, to be the face of the brand.

In collaboration with Cricketgraph.com, Attiitude will be launching weekly awards for the best batsman, best bowler, and best fielder. Adding to this, Attiitude will acknowledge the best performance (in batting, bowling, and fielding) for the quarter, which will be given out in Jan 2018. The awardees will receive attractive gifts from Attiitude which includes their top quality merchandise from this international fashion brand.
So, here is another chance to win fantastic prizes and see yourself shinning on cricketgraph.com.

Held on 16th September at the Skyline Cricket Ground, Spartans and Jr XI clashed against each other where in Spartans won the toss and elected to field first which is a somewhat surprising decision considering maximum teams who win the toss elect to bat first on a batting track like Skyline.

Their decision to bat first certainly backfired as Jr. XI made a mammoth 242/5 in 20 overs which is a great score to defend in T20’s.  Even though it wasn’t the best of the starts from the top 3 batsman, Pradeep at no.4 smashed an unbeaten 76* off just 42balls (8fours & 3sixes) to take his team towards a big total

It is rightly said that age is not a bar when you have the will to play and talent to back it up. Sanath Jayasuriya played cricket till 38, Misbah-Ul-Haq retired just recently at 40 and so many more names just proves the fact. One more player who is defining this trend is 45yr old Rajesh Paghdare who is certainly giving youngsters a run for their money.

Batting first, Regent CC made a decent 183/8 before they declared after playing 38.1 overs. Opener Pattrick Allen and Prakash Aswani top scored the innings with 45 & 66 respectively. Slow left arm bowler Sagar Dugaonkar was the lead bowler coming up with impressive bowling figures of 5/44 in 14 overs.

In reply, thanks to some good bowling, Dahisar Youngsters were reduced to just 175/all out in 75.1 overs. 45yr old right arm medium pacer Rajesh pagdhare defied the odds and proved age is just a number as he bowled excellently well against players younger to him taking 5/23 in 9 overs which also included 4 maidens. In the 2nd innings, Regent CC made 64/4 in 21 overs before the end of the game’s play where Regent CC won the match on 1st innings.
